Just a guess, but did the man you see sitting in midair happen to be wear rather voluminous robes, or have a big thick blanket over him? If so, the hanging robe/blanket is actually there to cover the thin but very strong leg coming down from the seat, as well as the large circle it attaches to on the ground. It can be done cheap with a simple metal ring and metal bar, but Indian “mystics” who’ve done this for centuries spend a good long time shaping a branch into shape to do this.

I’m guessing by voting first, he’s talking about Primaries. Frankly, none of the states should be voting first, or really even at all. The parties are a big part of what got us in this mess, and things would run much better if any attempt at forming parties had been met with first voting out anyone engaging in the bullshit, and then having them hung as the fucking criminals they are. Add on to this that in California (and probably all other states at the time) in the 1960s, it was legal for regular citizens to bring firearms into courthouses, and it was frequently done. Up until Black Panthers began to do it, and all of the sudden, right-wing politicians (including Ronald Reagan) felt there was a need to ban firearms inside courthouses by all citizens. The right was fully respected as long as only white people did it, and needed to be done away with when black people insisted on the same right.

To tell the truth, that GLAAD is pushing for 20% shows that they may be trying to push too far. Frankly a fictional character really only needs their sexuality brought up if it has something to do with the story, and pushing people to have 20% of their characters be gay, bi, or transsexual most of the time will mean going out of your way to make up excuses for them to be one of these, unless it’s a show focusing on the LGBT community. And trying to force that into the storytelling is really just going to result in a heftier disservice to every community, except the anti-LGBT frummies who will just tell us all “I told you so.”

If you want a real answer, it’s because scammers pay them a lot of money to push those ads, so their algorithm is rigged to push those up higher for everybody, so pretty much everyone is going to see those ads. All done under the assumption that an ad must be more important if the advertisement buyer is willing to pay extra, but really only serves scammers because they’re willing to spend a great deal more to get themselves out in front of their marks, I mean audience.

Given that there are people with the training to read facial expressions, this company actually has something potentially semi-legitimate here. Of course, the people with that training won’t use any of the kind of language here, certainly not being able to read someone’s personality. More just indicators of the probability they’re telling the truth at the moment. Most importantly they will also speak in probabilities based on what they have observed, and only have any real confidence if they’ve observed a few minutes of baseline without interrogation.

This place, they’re really just overselling reality. Unfortunately the reality they’re overselling is likely to lead to companies who use their technology acting as if this technology is already perfected and totally accurate making false accusations against innocent customers, and treating malicious customers like platinum class big money spenders rather than thieves.

Just remember that by limited illness, I mean something that infects, runs its course, then fades away as your own immune system deals with it. Yes, absolutely, CO2 is good for the planet, as it’s a necessary component for photosynthesis. Without it, plants wouldn’t exist. Too much though makes it difficult for animals to breathe, and also traps significantly more heat inside the atmosphere. We need some, not a lot. It needs to be much better balanced than it currently is.

My dad has told me stories about his time in the Navy, including a couple women who were, well, not the best sailors, including one about a woman who got into a car accident while drunk and threatened the other women with her to keep quiet or she’d hurt them (Spoiler alert: the other women reported her.) The real truth is those who’ve always supported any government’s attempts, and successes, at steamrolling over the freedoms of their subjects has always been right-wing, no matter what they thought they were. That’s really the major definition of right-wing. A support for authoritarian government, no matter what those in that government decide they want. The Soviet Union is referred to leftist and liberal because it was Communist, but that was in name only. One of the tenets of Communism is collectivism and equal access to proper self-government, and collaboration to find the best path forward for the entire community. (Communism, get it?) But under Stalin, the Soviet government became highly restrictive and authoritarian, existing only for the benefit of those who sat on the Politburo, rather than for the people across the lands of the Soviet Union, making it a fairly extreme right-wing government.

Admittedly the far left path isn’t any better, which makes it fortunate most people walk somewhere between the two, rather than only left or right. There needs to be some kind of actual force available to stop the worst excesses of people who believe freedom means no consequences, and enough release from authority to give people the chance to exercise their will and actually try to do something for themselves, and for others, rather than being required to only serve one small group’s or one individual’s ever whim.
