The elite soldiers in the Trojan War would have worn what’s called the Dendra Panoply which is a heavy suit made of bronze armor with a helmet made of boar tusk and leather. The regular infantry soldiers would have been wearing armor made of oxhide and some wore no armor at all. None of them would have looked like what we picture as knights.

If you're type 2, your pancreas still produces insulin and is capable of lowering your blood sugar. The more damage you do to your pancreas, often but not exclusively from poor diet and exercise, the less insulin is produced, until eventually you become an IDDM or insulin dependent diabetic.

No matter what kind of diabetes you have (type 1, 1.5, 2, gestational, etc), please learn how to manage your condition. Hypo/hyperglycemia are life threatening conditions. No currently known supplement performs the function of insulin in the body.
