To be an atheist? I grew up raised to believe in God, but i had questions. Most of the Christains around me couldn’t answer them, and more likely attacked me for answering them.
I went searching for the God i believed in… Woke up one day and realized i’d lost all faith. But none of the arguments for gods, any of the gods, make any sense to me.

"Liver problems" can absolutely self-resolve, and typically do until the body is no longer able to compensate for the dysfunction. Changing your diet could resolve some liver problems, but it is unlikely to be due to the addition of a single new source of protein by itself.

Mercury forms compounds in the body that are lipophilic, aka attracted to fats. Your brain is mostly fat, so, just due to the nature of your circulatory system, the mercury will build and build until you start experiencing symptoms. By that point, there's nothing doctors can do. There's no way to remove mercury from the fatty tissues in your fat head, yet. Meanwhile, you're losing 10 IQ points per month.

Let's not even talk about food-borne illnesses from improperly prepared meats. Suffice to say, don't do this. If you know how to prepare food so it is safe-ish to consume raw, you may slip up one day. The result could be a tummy ache, or acute liver failure. People definitely do die from food poisoning. If you choose to pursue this diet, these are the risks you accept.

The show M.A.S.K has no political pretense at all.

Not talking about politics is itself a political decision. Which can be perfectly fine up to a point but generally can’t be avoided forever.
The only way to avoid politics entirely is to have a hero in box who doesn’t interact with other people or do much. As soon as they start solving problems the solutions will say something about what sort of solutions the hero thinks are viable.

But you can't make this claim of general universal interest and escapism with anything nowadays.

You generally can’t claim universal interest without some political issues anyway. As soon as you cast a team your decisions about who is on the team effect the universal part. A team of nothing but white guys only seems universal to people used to generic white patriarchy.

Could you really, though?? I remember M.A.S.K. actually, totally watched it when I was a kid. I had to look up the list of characters to refresh my memory, but on the “good guy” side, they had a Japanese-American, a guy from Quebec, a Hispanic guy, a Russian, a native American, and an immigrant from India. Oh, and one woman. For an ’80s American cartoon show, I think that’s a decently diverse cast. Of course though, being that the real goal of the show was to sell toys, I’d guess that they didn’t have it that way out of the goodness of their hearts, but they were trying to appeal to as many demographics as possible!

(For what it’s worth tho, I had a few of the toys, and I remember them being kinda cheap-feeling and fragile. The Transformers toys were a lot more sturdy, lol)
