If this is true I’m glad Ed and Winry managed to work through this, that they have realised Ed is attracted to both women (including Winry) and men, and that it’s ultimately little different from a wholly heterosexual man being attracted to women other than his wife.

What the quotee is saying however is unclear. “Ed is not bi”. Then what is he?

Anglin is a self-confessed troll. Incidentally my dad was born in 1942, thus making him a ‘boomer’ (though he hated that term as much as I hate the term ‘Generation X’), and I’ve seen a picture of him changing my nappy (that’s what we call a diaper, Americans) and I’ve also seen another picture of him bottle-feeding me. And my dad was one of the toughest men I’ve ever met.

Paranoia is frequently thought to be the delusion that things are against you. This is not true - it is the delusion that things are oriented towards you. A nobody who thinks that politicians and celebrities are communicating with him via the television by wearing certain clothes would be considered paranoid. For Brian to think that the riots, which were opportunist crimes committed during the social unrest of protests against police brutality, have anything to do with enmity against the hardline religious stance he advocates sounds very paranoid to me! (note: I have no medical qualification.) Basically, he’s taken a situation that has nothing to do with himself and made it all about himself.

And purple-haired girls who reckon they’re witches - a type of person not uncommon in our corner of the internet - OK they’re fun to be around, but they’re harmless. And they aren’t witches. Witches don’t exist. Just about the only person who’d shit himself if a purple-haired girl came up to him and said “Hi, I’m a witch” is Brian.
