You know, even if the David/Jonathan ship is canon, I'm not sure that means much in terms of whether or not gay stuff should be considered sinful from a Christian perspective. I don't think David is generally seen as a good example of moral behavior, like when he intentionally ordrered that soldier to go to certain death so he could get with his wife.

As a biology major, I learned that race is not “skin-deep” the way so many people claim.

If you learned anything about race other than "it's bullshit" you clearly are attending a school with a very shitty biology department. More likely, you learned a few things about human variation that were true, filtered them through your pre-existing racism, and used them to support said racism without asking any of your teachers to explain race to you. Even more likely, this is a completely fictional story and the author just assumes everyone who studies biology agrees with his racist attitudes.

If it were so obvious, I should be able to find an undeniably obvious clip of him being rude or outright mean to Hispanics, blacks or some other group. I went looking for this smoking gun, and, to my complete surprise, I never found it.

Did you actually ask anyone to explain how Trump is racist? It's pretty fucking obvious to me. But, oh, I guess *you're* not racist, so if Trump says things you like, he can't be racist either. Hate to break it to you (not really) but "race realism" *IS* racism. The people who invented that idiotic euphemism know that. I never heard about this show until I saw these posts on FSTDT about it, but I hope that this "bumblebee" ship is made canon, just to piss off these homophobic jerks.

There is when it's there just for the sake of a ship. Other shows like Legend of Korra, Steven Universe, and more recently Star vs the Forces of Evil added it just to pander as there was absolutely no build up or development to said ships. That's a sign of poor writing.

I've never seen Legend of Korra and I've only seen like 2 episodes of Star vs. the Forces of Evil, so I can't comment on that. However, I really love Steven Universe. What ship in Steven Universe is he even talking about? The only canon relationships in SU I can think of seemed about as well written as anything else in that show. Also, why on Earth would someone so obiously homophobic even give a crap about Steven fucking Universe!? That show is pretty damn LGBT++ friendly. Pearl was in love with Rose. Garnet!
