I just did a Web search on Buck Angel. *He* isn't just a man. He's a very masculine manly-looking beefy hunk of a guy. Damn. If you're attracted to him, it's *not* because you like "masculine women". It's because you like dudes.

I kinda get why someone would be upset if a guy identifies as straight but is attracted to trans men. I think I wouldn't like it if someone who claimed to be attracted to men exclusively said they were attracted to me. I can also understand why a trans guy like the OP might think it very wrong to dictate what kind of labels a person attaches to themself. So, I really think this quote doesn't belong here. (As for their situation, I think maybe that "straight" guy they're talking about may want to reconsider how he identifies; OTOH, I tend to think that the sexual orientation labels we use are not really fine enough to fully capture the range of variation in what kinds of people we think are sexy)
