Wow, a single, unimpressive word/name just spoken aloud can destroy any demon like a nuke was dropped on them? That doesn’t make the word sound powerful, it just makes the “fearful” demons sound weak and pathetic and makes me wonder how they could ever be a threat to anyone…
No, methinks that you just had a bit of a chest pain. A realistic demon would be more like what you see in Doom Eternal or something - faaaaar too powerful and threatening for even a group of armed marines to kill, let alone for a stupid book or a word to scare away. Or at the very least like Maze from Lucifer: badass enough to kick the asses of numerous armed thugs with ease.
See, I’d love to see how your precious, pacifistic “human” carpenter could even survive ten seconds against the likes of the Icon of Sin or Ogudomon X, let alone win.
