I think the OP lost a golden opportunity to see life from a girl's POV, which might have helped him with his issues.

Of course there are women who value men solely according to their potential as sex partners. Especially young, horny teenager types, who have a lot of growing up to do. God knows there are plenty of men who do that with women.
