They don’t believe in Christianity, they believe in Holocaustianity.

This religion replaced Christianity after the Second World War.

It makes Hitler (sub in White people) the ultimate evil.

It make jews into The Christ (God’s chosen)

It makes the holocaust The Crucifixion.

Any attempt to refute this new religion is heresy and you are punished not only financially, legally & with prison time, you are a horrible person.

I thought that “Kardashian Mafia” was dumb…this is 6 million (not 250,000 dummy) times worse.

1. You can believe that Jesus is God and/or that the Nazis under Hitler had a concentrated effort to kill ~6 million Jewish people and then another ~6 million of other categories. One doesn't need to replace the other, just like you don't replace Christianity with "Breakfastanity," the belief that the first meal of the day is commonly called breakfast.

2. Your made up version of it does, sure. In general though, knowing about what Hitler did to a commonly oppressed and reviled ethnic/religious group and how people can be convinced/coerced to go along with various atrocities is not only just a part of history but one that can be compared and contrasted to current events. Seeing how many people will happily embrace authoritarianism and extremism under mob mentality led by a charismatic leader and how it impacts society.

3. Generally because the attempts to refute it are in bad faith. Cherry picking information to lie, false claims, and general misinformation is how it's usually argued. And the latter is pretty usually true cause the thing I hear most from Holocaust deniers is something like "Hitler didn't kill 6 million Jews (or some slur) but he should have!" You know, the type that says their boy is an innocent angel while calling for genocide. Which often means the person is a horrible racist fuckwit, so you know, a horrible person. And the prison time/financial issues do vary depending on where you live.

I don’t know that Holocaust deniers should in all cases be punished legally and/or financially, but labeling them as horrible people? I’ve got no problem with that.
