No, it’s the focus of the channel, duh. If it’s some girl giving make-up tutorials then the focus of the channel is make-up. If it’s a bloke shooting guns then the focus of the channel is guns. If it’s dogs, etc. All these people have other interests.
Maybe the quotee’s only interest is being a dick?
I watched a video recently where the person in question stated that most people who make videos only show one side of themselves, the side which is most relevant to the main focus of their videos, and often an exaggerated version of it at that. While I don’t personally know any actors or vtubers, so I couldn’t confirm that statement, it was not at all surprising. Maybe because I’ve done a lot of dating over the years? A lot of people don’t show their full selves until a few months into the relationship. That’s not the same thing, but it does clearly show that people can seem limited without being so.

Indeed, actually there’s a few YouTubers I subscribe to where they have multiple channels, each one devoted to a particular interest of theirs. Anon-e-moose knows what I’m talking about, there’s “Dankpods” for instance, whose main channel is dedicated to reviews of various audio equipment and such, but since he’s a drummer as well (and a good one btw), he has a channel for drum stuff of course.
