A female is not: "identifying" as female, growing up as female, socializing as female, dressing up as female, and "passing as" female.

A woman, a female, is an organism that can bear offspring and/or produce eggs under the right conditions.

CAIS are males with an inability to respond to androgens. The product of the inability is a male with a pseudo-female like appearance, creating the illusion of a female.

Beneath the layers, CAIS have no internal female sex organs - no uterus and no ovaries. They have testes - the male gonads that produce sperm. Their bodies were supposed to support the production of sperm and failed. They are men in every sense of the word.

The only reason they even know they are intersexed is because of modern medicine

The reason humans know they are humans and not another specie is modern medicine, and study of genes. Surely you wouldn't claim humans were not humans before they learned of what separates each specie.

CAIS were not women before modern medicine. They were disordered men.

Also, according to again your own “logic” here, despite my complete openness about being trans, you’d still have to count me in your exclusive little club whether you like it or not, since I happen to posses a bunch of working female parts inside me and could very conceivably carry a kid of my own with IVF.

Based on that, my mother isn’t a woman.

I’m 50. My mum won’t be giving me any more little brothers or sisters. According to this crap she isn’t a woman then, and neither are other women who are simply infertile. Or had a hysterectomy for medical reasons. Or have Turner’s syndrome. Or whatever else.

I hadn't heard of this CAIS condition, but there are others for intersex people. Because they are inherently like that, unlike transgenders who sometimes have surgery, it goes to show there really is a place called No Man's and No Woman's Land. Not so Binary, which is a horrible bigots' group anyway.

Finally humans knew they were human long before modern medicine and Gregor Mendel's genetic experiments. They knew they weren't goats or monkeys, even though those SPECIES are certainly smarter than some.

Right. People born with a vulva, a vagina, and testes clearly demonstrate how everyone can be easily classified as female or male with nothing in between and absolutely no room for any kind of ambiguity at all. 🙄
