Are we sure this is real and not a parody designed to trick antivaxxers into understanding what vaccines are? Because I know someone has made a parody that sounds exactly like this?

Why, that would almost sound like something we've heard if that has happened a few times before.

Not even the first time I’ve heard one of them propose a vaccine without realizing it.

If this isn’t a Poe, it’s like thinking “Maybe this time, instead of a hamburger, I should try a cheeseburger without cheese!”

If it was so easily done, doctors already would have used weaker versions of COVID or other coronaviri in attenuated or inactived vaccines, like with tuberculosis and measles.

I am reminded of creationists who say that they believe that animals ADAPT to their environment because specimens who have traits that are beneficial in the situation survive and thrive better, NOT that silly Evolution thing - fish giving birth to dinosaurs giving birth to dogs giving birth to humans!
