First off, Project 2025 has nothing to do with Trump. Find something new to complain about.

Second, the fact a doctor doesn't understand the law and refuses to do what they are legally allowed to do, isn't the fault of the law.

It's almost funny how the same doctors who were saying they would violate the law to give kids "gender affirming care" suddenly decide that literally anything having to do with a child is an abortion and they totally don't want to violate the law. It's almost like they are playing politics with women's lives because they really hate not being able to kill babies.

There is a good chance Trump has not read it and isn’t really aware of what it says. He isn’t a paperwork or bureaucracy person. He delegates the actual work of running the government to other people who have read Project 2025 and plan to use it.

Killing babies is fucking based, actually.

And I will continue to say that because it triggers the forced birthers.

Exactly, Trump is the kind of person who only cares about ruling a government, not about actually running it. He wants all of the power and priveliges, and none of the responsibilities. Which is bad enough for a "leader” on its own, but considering Trump is an easily manipulated idiot, it only makes things worse.

Second, the fact a doctor doesn't understand the law and refuses to do what they are legally allowed to do, isn't the fault of the law.

But sometimes that *is* a fault of the law, or rather, the people who wrote it. If the law was written in an ambiguous manner, and the writers of the law gave mixed messages as to its intent, then nobody knows what is or isn’t legal until the courts weigh in. And most people don’t want to be the one who tests it in the courts, particularly if there are serious consequences for being wrong.

Trump is probably honest when he says he doesn’t know what’s in Project 2025 because he can’t read more than a page or two. But let’s not forget that JD Vance wrote the forward to the President of the Heritage Foundation’a book. I also guess that they’re not going to issue the Schedule F executive order and not appoint all of those flunkies they previously identified?

As for your “exemptions” they’re worded deliberately vague. Nothing to tell an ER doctor or hospital when they’re in the clear or when they will be landed in front of the state’s Attorney General’s office.

It's almost like they are laying TiVo pits with women's lives because they really kite not being able to hall babies.

Their “proof” that Trump has no relationship to Project 2025 is that Trump says he knows nothing about Project 2025. Often in the same breath that he also says he agrees with the sentiments of Project 2025.

In other words … he knows nothing about what he agrees with.

He’s appointed a LOT of people Many of them frog-marched out of the building under a dark cloud. So, people that are still in his good graces is a discrete group.

It was made for Trump by the Heritage foundation who Trump has praised on numerous occasions. Multiple former and current Trump staffers helped developed this thing. J.D Vance wrote the foreword to the book being released by the man responsible for this document.

Trump may be trying to distance himself from it but his stink is all over it.

Except his agreeing with it, his wanting it to be reality, the people who wrote it being close to him. And his VP pick.

Because it was put right in Trump's face repeatedly, he now obviously knows of it, if you assume that he didn't before that. He denied being closely involved, but does not criticize or reject it. He didn't disband the mob either, he's still embracing it and we expect conspirators to be placed at strategic posts. This makes him complicit, no matter if leader or puppet or both. It'll still be part of his legacy.
