Neither did the “left” they just wanted them to ackowledge there’s a contagious disease and spreading it around fucks everyone.
MAGA on the other hand explicitly wants mass detentions, gay conversion camps, the forced ejection of citizens based on religious and ethnic criteria, women to become state property bereft of rights at the moment of impregnation even at the cost of their lives, and oh yeah OPENLY HAILS AUTOCRATIC STRONGMEN WHO MURDER THEIR OPPOSITION. Trump, personally, kisses dictator ass on camera in front of the entire world and frequently “suggests” doing things their way. This idealized version of Trump you have in your head as some paragon of American values? It’s a joke and one Trump would laugh at.
But then why am I giving a dignified response to a washed up actor pushing fake crisis that holds every living member of a religion collectively responsible for the execution of one of it’s own religious leaders 2000 years after the fact - a leader whose disciples abandoned him when the occupying goverment that actually executed him came, whose words were then cobbled together and voted on for publication by that same occupying force that crucified your supposed messiah and has been reworked as is politically convenient on a constant basis - but refuses to hold anyone that talks his kind of politics responsible even on an individual level for egregious criminal acts.
And I can’t remember “the left” calling for the murder of queers, immigrants, or black people, or writing/drawing extensive masturbatory phantasies about the deaths of everyone who got the vaccine.
That was a lie the RIGHT circulated about what the LEFT was going to do, Kevin.
What if Trump is reelected and during his second presidency we get a pandemic of, say, Covid-25? That has a significantly higher mortality rate than Covid-19. Could it happen that Trump introduced a Jim Crow-like system with people who have taken vaccines against Covid-25 as ‘blacks’?

No one called for concentration camps for unvaccinated people.
Meanwhile, Trump openly bragged about being a dictator for one day.
There’s a big difference between an internment camp and a quarantine. A quarantine lets you go after a set amount of time (usually 3 weeks, in the case of Covid-19, or a few days after symptoms disappear, whichever is longer) while an interment camp is indefinite, lasting until a bit after the conflict passes or the courts rule them illegal, whichever is shorter. Quarantines never involve forced labor, while internment camps sometimes do. Quarantine sites are typically low-security and in urban areas; internment camps are typically high-security and away from the cities. I suppose they’re similar in the sense that you’re not necessarily expected to survive, and if you die you’ll likely end up in an unlabeled common grave.
