President Biden: “democracy”
Libertarian Party: “… is mob rule that endangers individual rights.”

And what do you propose instead? Because whatever you do propose, I bet it’ll endanger individual rights a lot more than democracy. Democracy is the worst system of government we’ve tried, except for all the others.
is mob rule
Except people have long ago realised that there “rule of the people” must not mean “tyranny of the majority”, and thus, modern democracies have ideals like pluralism and rule of the law and institutions like constitutions, anti-discrimination laws and civil rights watchgroups to prevent and actively fight entrenched inequality and unchecked populism.
that endangers individual rights
…oh right, libertarians. By “individual rights”, you meanonly the “rights” of aristocrats like you (or the aristocrat you, the Übermensch, totally would make yourself, if only you were not held back by those pesky “laws” of the Last Man’s “morality”) to do whatever you want to whomever you want, and especially to engage in exploitation and corruption. Power without responsibility. And certainly not the individual rights of any mere mortal - those are actually the problem, because they are protected against your predations.
Those are not rights. They are abuse of power. They are evil. And it is very good that democracy endangers and hopefully ulitmately destroys them.
In related news...
- Work is the justification of slavery through miniscule payouts of hush money,
- The Libertarian party is a false flag operation conducted by Republicans to show their conservative brethren that the "pot" in smoking pot stands for crackpot,
- As of the overturn of Roe v Wade, the term "individual rights" officially stands for "the right to exploit others".
Anyways, besides a typo I could've almost agreed a few years ago - given Trump's hairstyle, his presidency sure was a mop rule...
Well, it was certainly mob rule for a time: on 6th January 2021.
Then you lot wonder why you're so butthurt at the consequences since ...?!
Would you have been complaining the way you are now if they had succeeded...?!
Why bring Biden into it? Why not just say,
Libertarian Party: “Democracy is mob rule that endangers individual rights.”
Of course, then you’d have to list the individual rights you think you have, that you think are threatened by a non-Libertarian majority. Not sure if that’d help your cause.

They’re mad about what he said in his speech a couple days ago. Republicans have been threatening violence in order to get their way for years, as you know, but that’s hopefully not going to work anymore.

They don’t think they would be complaining. They imagine that if it had succeeded, the US would become a paradise for them. They’d get to kill everyone they don’t like and execute a bunch of people and they don’t think they’ll be on that list of who is to go. These people, like @Bastethotep said, think they are the Übermenschen and that they’ll be the exception to whatever bad things will happen.
They have the self awareness of a pillow created by that MyPillow piece of shit. I know that my rat has more self awareness just by watching him - he actually learns and modifies his behavior accordingly, not these assholes.

These people, like @Bastethotep said, think they are the Übermenschen and that they’ll be the exception to whatever bad things will happen.
That’s the thinking of all victims of the Original Position Fallacy: “The bad things will only happen to THOSE people!”
They never imagine themselves as anything similar to a white supremacist who wants a One Drop Rule favoring whites established, only to have it revealed that he himself is
14% sub-Saharan African.
So under the ODR that he until now has wanted, HE would be one of the white-looking people legally classified as black.
Confused?
