I’m gleefully twirling the ends of my handlebar mustache and chortling thinking about what happens in two weeks. I have read each of these posted at least once since Election Day:

- A women must obey her husband’ s every command, or he can beat her

-Married women will no longer be allowed to work outside the home, unless it’s church related volunteer work while their husbands and children are not at home

- A woman must have sex with her husband any time the husband wishes it, or he can divorce her for abandonment, pay her no alimony, and retain full custody of the children

You wouldn’t be twirling your Dick-Dastardly mustache with glee if any woman you beat comes in possession of a loaded rifle in hand and aiming at your head. You’ll be pissing yourself faster before she could pull the trigger.

There’s a very good reason why the mainly Disney-owned Hulu not only produced the adaptation of “The Handmaid’s Tale”, but purely on the strength of how that not only got ultra-high ratings and critical acclaim: ultimately that gaining the unique accolade of the first streamed series to win an Emmy, they greenlit an adaptation of the sequel “The Testaments” to be streamed - and no doubt win awards galore again - this year. As they say, ‘Read a Book’.

Considering how that ends: and how Hulu got Margaret Atwood to write said adaptation based on her own book, you’re going to wish the original work by her wasn’t so ultra-successful that Hulu bought the rights to that thus what’ll happen in that streamed sequel series this year.

Like I say: the mainly Disney-owned Hulu. How the House of Mouse likes happy endings: and the villains get theirs…!

Since Patriot_2020 thinks women should do all the cooking, he might want to remember there are all sorts of poisons that are tasteless or easily disguised in food and drink.

If you told us that you’re still single then no one would be surprised.
