The Excuses
. . . one accord . . . (Luke 14:18)
“But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused'”(Luke 14:18). There is no reasonable excuse or any legitimate reason for sinners to reject the gospel. The only justification that could ever be on the table would be willful delusion, and that is the case with those who offer their excuses.

The meal wasn’t a reference to the Gospel or fealty to El, though. This was Jesus’s normal theme of the Problems with the rich. The idea seems to be that while the rich were happy to get debts out of God (i.e. they invited him over, so he’s now indebted in some way), they weren’t too keen on the obverse. The poor and alien, though, are not so one-sided, nor Jesus’s God.
Cool, Ray, now quote the big where Jesus says to sell everything, donate it to the poor, and follow jesus. Quote that.
And then post your tax returns, huh?
Hmm, I was actually about to say I kinda liked Luke 14 upon reading that just now….then we get to Luke 14:28…. “if any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” Uhhh, what? lol
“Everybody secretly knows that my opinions are the only right ones to have, that my believes are the only true ones out there, and that I therefore am Creation's Favorite Little Idiot! I am always right and everyone else is always wrong!”
Fuck all the way off, Ray-Ray.
The State Church’s version of the Bible was God’s Infallible Word! He had never seen any evidence that proved The Church guilty of Scripture falsification. It had never existed, he had invented it. Ray remembered remembering contrary things, but those were false memories, products of self-deception.
Ok, then don't be a sinner.
Happy New Year, everyone!
1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV): ‘Prove all things’, with no ‘Context’ or ‘Interpretation’ allowed: if your ‘Literal’ BuyBull says it that way, it means it that way: if you admit that so much of word one of said BuyBull isn’t ‘Literal’ then none of it from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is. The reason why Conservative Christian Judge John E. Jones III ruled against the defence in Kitzmiller vs. Dover: thus your so-called ‘Gospel’ - the ‘Word’ of your ‘God’ - is inadmissible as evidence in the ultimate crucible of forensic facts that is a court of law. The precedent set. One thing that case in said court of law proved: that your so-called ‘Gospel’ - as it can never be ‘Literal’ - is lies , if it can’t prove what it claims against already proven scientific fact .
If your so-called ‘Gospel’ can’t prove scientific facts wrong in the only possible way - and to our satisfaction - and more…:

…then it proves one thing, thus it all blowing up in the face(s) of said defence. Fact: post-KvD, Ray Cumfart can’t prove the existence of his so-called ‘God’.
The worst excuse of all.
Fuck off, Bananaman. If you really cared about the teachings of Christ, you’d attack these people instead. Nazis who pervert the words to Christ. But instead you always attack atheists who never bother anyone and even follow Jesus’ teachings more than those self-proclaimed Christians. Funny, it’s almost like YOU are the one full of excuses…
There is no reasonable excuse or any legitimate reason for sinners to reject the gospel
Anyone can call anyone sinners, just like anyone can interpret the gospels like they want, just like the gospels were written by mortal humans. There is no legitimate excuse for your nonsense.
willful delusion
Ironic, because of the aforementioned facts.
“There is no reasonable excuse or any legitimate reason for sinners to reject the gospel.”
I’ve never seen a miracle.
Christ’s disciples saw miracles on a regular basis, and STILL denied Jesus’ power. Every time. “I’mma do some shit!” and they’re ‘No WAY, Jesus, no one can do that.”
This is after they all saw the PREVIOUS miracle and proclaimed he must be the messiah.
If they can have direct evidence of miracle powers and STILL doubt, why in the fuck do i have to take anonymous accounts of other people seeing miracles and base my faith on that?
I reject the gospels because i don’t see much of a reason to accept them as historical.
"The only justification that could ever be on the table would be willful delusion,”
You’re making an accusation against me without even meeting me. Isn’t that a biblical no-no?
"and that is the case with those who offer their excuses.”
I don’t say, I’m too busy to read the gospels. I don’t believe them. THey aren’t compelling to me. It’s not an excuse, your arguments just don’t convince me.
Confused?
