The sooner the western world wakes up to the fact that they are putting homosexuals, pedophiles, and perverts in powerful positions throughout government because they can be blackmailed and controlled, the better.

That’s exactly why security clearances were withheld from homosexuals for most of my career. Gays could be blackmailed and kicked out.
But it’s not illegal to be gay in the military any more, so that threat is gone. It’s not a vulnerability to be gay. Of course, if you’re thumping a bible and denouncing the ‘perverts,’ and you get caught in a hotel room with the wrong sort of prostitute, that’s a different issue.
But that’s just holding a hypocrite to accountability. Not the same thing.
Whenever you see "homosexuals, pedophiles, and perverts" mixed in together for effect, you know it's a bigot who wants to misconstrue legitimate rights as criminal activity. When you see that the goal is also to promote the harassment of government officials, it also exposes the hypocrisy and malice.
And the reason why homosexuality is a good blackmail tool is because f bigots like you: some of the earliest seasons of NCIS had characters trying to hide their homosexuality or transsexuality because, esle, they would be dismissed.
Can’t speak for politics in other countries, but most (all?) LGBTQIA+ Democrats are out. How can you be blackmailed for something which is already public knowledge? It’s hard to say if there are a bunch of secretly gay Republicans or the few who resigned upon being outed were all that existed. But at the very least, it’s not a big deal for Democrats.
Now there are some high-level government positions which still enforce morality clauses, but I have no idea if “don’t be gay” is still included in them. But the purpose of morality clauses is to make blackmail less likely, not more likely.
Confused?
