There’s no question that all of the vaccines materially cooperate with the grave evil of infanticide. In the case of someone who receives it now, particularly for free, the cooperation is pretty remote. Still, even remote material cooperation in grave intrinsic evil is usually sinful.

Of course, if you allow complicity to chain on endlessly, no matter how distant, no matter how indirect, no matter how far into the past, no matter how little one could do about it, with no point where it becomes neglegible by any reasonable measure, it becomes impossible not to be a sinner purely by virtue of not existing in isolation. But of course, that is the point, isn’t it? Everyone is to be burdened with guilt - and specifically, an abstract, superpersonal guilt not rooted in notions of perspective and circumstances and real-life consequences that one can engage with through reason or through amends to those one has wronged -, so they have no choice but to swear fealty to you, the only one who holds the secret and the key to redemption… while you tell your wicked selves that no one is without fault so you are not really any worse than everyone else…
And now I see why they see the notion of white privilege as “the Original Sin of Leftism”. Like always, it is so interesting when Christian fundamentalists of all people accuse their foes of being blindly religious. It feels like they, on some level, realise that and even how their religion - theyselves - is oppressing them… and yet, they cannot or want not break free or admit to it – so they call it out all the more where they see it in others, be it rival cults or a false positive born out of pure projection.
