I have to disagree with that. Sidious/Palpatine is even by his own actor stated to be pretty much evil incarnate. Wey-Yu was driven primarily by insatiable greed (even to the point of stupidity). Sidious’ prime goal was for the entire galaxy, nay the entire universe, to forever be tyranically subjugated under his immortal rule, with him as the sole being with freedom. Let’s not forget that, in canon at least, he designed the Empire to collapse without him, even without his loyalists doing a scorched earth campaign on their own, failed worlds. If he couldn’t rule everything, it all deserved to die.
Plus, Wey-Yu was a corporation run by several asshats; Sidious was an actual single person.
I agree with one thing, though, Prometheus really was a dissapointment of a film. Though what do you think is worse, Prometheus and its sequel, or the SW sequel trilogy?
