If the OPs believe the shooter was non binary, chances are they just wanted to have justification for their bogotry. As to their father, he was relieved his child was the shooter and not LGBT. TERFs allies were fascist but now are terrorists. And if shooter was NB, it doesn't excuse act of terrorism and is likely a symptom of how society treats LGBT. Hell there have been gay serial killers who killed other gays as act of self loathing. Because fascists, terrorists and TERFs/GCs. In other words even if OPs were right about their being NB, they are part of why they have the self loathing and acted out. And if shooter is lying, the TERFs/GCs believed him. And helped fuel the attack.
