There could also be technical and practical issues using x.com. One letter site names are not supposed to be allowed but a few have been registered by accident. It’s possible that x.com doesn’t work in some places because all one character names are blocked, some applications may not work on one character names and so on.

It could have happened but Trump missed his window of opportunity. The Republican party was a lot closer to a majority party then the Nazi was but the US has stronger rules for the government. Trump needed to hold on to the Presidency the first time. He didn’t manage it for a number of reasons, in part simply lack of courage. On Jan 6th he was very close to how Mussolini took power by seizing the parliament and simply challenging anybody to remove him. Trump didn’t have the courage to do it personally.

Oddly true. The Republicans seem to be selling the deepstate but can’t define it or find an example. Their demonstrations don’t really hold up. They don’t want to talk about the old evidence because the new evidence they will have in a moment will be great. Hitler was never really that popular. The Nazi party never did well enough in elections to be a majority party or even control parliament as a minority party. They came into power through mistakes on the part of others and once they had power they used it ruthlessly to insure that no further elections would matter. Appointing David Weiss as Special Council was a no win situation for Biden. People like MTG would complain that the situation wasn’t being investigated if he wasn’t appointed and complained that Congress was being blocked when he was appointed.

They are saying Biden is stalling the situation till after the election while saying Trump should stall his investigation till after the election. Some even going so far as to say that Trump should stall until he wins and that he should cancel the investigation after he wins while admitting that he is likely technically guilty of violating the Constitution.

Gonzalo posted a bunch of garbage that was picked up by Russian news agencies. Stuff about the invasion being well planned and that the Russians were going out of their way to avoid civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. That likely would have gotten him ordered to shut up by the state at some point. What got him arrested was recording Ukrainian soldiers and trying to ID them and give away their locations. He also did the same thing to American news people in Ukraine.

Plus there are huge problems applying them to political matters. Who gets to write the questions? How do you produce clear questions when politicians are doing legally evasive schemes?

It seems that Gen Z youth — those born 1995 to present, also known as Post-Millennials, the iGeneration and the Homeland Generation — are having an awakening (aka “red pilling”).

This is a very misguided understanding of what is happening. The last couple of generations are becoming more politically aware and less satisfied with the way things are going. They are also the most left wing generations and are moving further left. Very few were MAGA, that is a movement of the late middle aged and elderly. This is one of the reasons Republicans are so worried, the usually move to the right seen as people get older is not happening as much as in the past. This will also be hard on the various hard right movements but it won’t be as obvious because these groups are built on a handful of loud people anyways.

If you listened to the hearings on the weaponization of the FBI and came away with the Democrats using the FBI against Republicans you needed to pay more attention. The hearings were a failure for the Republicans, making them look bad. They could produce no significant evidence or witnesses.
The best they could do was complain that the Muller investigation of the Trump/Russia connections only found numerous connections and got a bunch of people to plead guilty. Muller didn’t tie it directly Trump because the investigation was stopped before it got that far. Compare this to the Durham report that investigated the investigation of Trump. All that Durham could come up with is one charge against a FBI agent who took a short cut in filing a form that was illegal but didn’t really change anything.

The US can’t be divided that neatly. Lots of people have proposed maps for an American divide. Most have East coast, West Coast (the two richest areas but too far apart to be one state), Texas (a good part of which has been itching to go their own way for decades), the South East recreating part of the Confederate states (because why not try a bad idea again), plus 1 or 2 other middle countries.
