That’s actually similar to the Qunari of Dragon Age. Same three and equal “castes” (Body, Mind, and Soul of their society). And what caste you are put into is not determined by your birth, but by your aptitudes as a child.

On a relevant side note, despite their flaws, the Qunari are the least bigoted faction in all of Thedas. Gender, sexual orientation, skin color, race, etc… As long as you do your assigned role without complaining, ALL are equal under the Qun. Indeed, a mere baker who does his job exceptionally well receives more respect and standing in the Qun than a general who is merely average.

What you Chemical medicine is the products that have been proven to work. Alternative medicine is the stuff that has been used for millennia before modern science enabled us to discern which techniques and substances will be effective and has shown that what you call "alternative medicine" is mostly ineffective.

Modern medicine was invented when the methodology for doing tight testing of how effective treatment is was developed. What is called alternative medicine is largely the stuff that couldn’t pass the “does it actually work” test. Though a fair bit is actually invented recently and called ancient because it sells better that way.

His points under “why” are largely correct but assume too much conspiracy planning when it’s simply individual/corporate opportunism and greed. Yes Youtube is trying to keep you on the couch but that is because that is how Youtube makes money, not some global conspiracy.
Even his points about what to do, which are not in this quote, make some sense.

And if they have good sources of info (I had encyclopedias in the 90s before internet myself on top of educated adults and my father was raised Baptist but lived 60 odd years as atheist because he was educated. As was mom) they tend to gave critical thoughts down. Children don't have critical thinking yet so believe what trusted adults say.
