That depends. A lot of people see things that are working because of gravity and THINK that it’s defying gravity.

That’s not fantasy. The science is pretty solid behind these people having an identity that’s different from the plumbing.

CAN not or WILL not? There’s a difference. But still, legally a marriage is a partnership, not a sacrament. So as long as they have a license, and they both are adults, and they consent, it’s a marriage.

But IIRC, some of these arguments were used against interracial marriages. That it was against God, that it was a lie, that society was harmed. They also insisted that they couldn’t have children, and other stupid arguments being used against gay marriage, now.
