Learn from my mistakes. Look out for these signs in your kids, and maybe you can save them from trans.

1. An objection to being gendered properly. As happened back in December 2023, and several times after, our son refused to agree to any statement that referred to him as a male. This may seem obvious, but in the moment it is not.
No, actually, your daughter is objecting to you misgendering her. Honestly, it’s pretty simple - she doesn’t want to be referred to as a male because she’s not a male.
2. Getting extremely emotional and intransigent whenever trans is brought up. As happened to us in March 2024. Don’t assume they are just deluded into being “allies”.
From what you say here, I’m guessing she isn’t allowed to express herself when you are around. Likely any time in her life up to now when she’s been angry at you, such as when you insist on misgendering her, you tone police her and probably even make fun of her by saying she’s ‘emotional’, like you’re doing right here.
3. Changing political beliefs, especially to the extremes. As I discovered in July 2024, my son rapidly descended into an extreme form of socialist anarchism. This kind of turmoil is common in those struggling with identity and confused about their own gender. Don’t assume that just because your child has always had common sense, has always seen the good in both sides, that they will continue to do so.
So now she’s grown up and has developed her own politics, separate from what she heard from you and the rest of the family for all of her life up until now. That must be very uncomfortable for a control freak like you seem to be!
Right now, both sides are not equally good. One side (the dems) is moderately right wing and the other is becoming more authoritarian and more fascist by the hour. Your daughter sounds like she’s got a good head on her shoulders, despite your ‘teachings’
4. Sudden intensifications of mental health issues. As happened to my son in December 2024, often trans will be very hard on someone’s mental health, and will worsen preexisting conditions, even the ones they later claim trans helped them fix! They won’t see reason on this, in my experience.
Yeah, I bet she has experienced some worsening of her mental health conditions. I’m guessing it hasn’t occurred to you that this may at least be in part because she knows her parents don’t accept her for who she is.
5. Hormonal imbalances. As my family saw in March 2025, they may be chemically induced. If your son in particular is often wearing hoodies, and self-conscious about their chest, and it seems to be growing gynecomastia all of a sudden for no reason, be concerned. Do not allow him to wear hoodies when the weather would not permit it, so that you can catch potential cases of trans early.
So you think controlling kids’ clothes and taking away items that make them feel more comfortable leaving the house is going to help you keep your kid from being trans? This is fucking ridiculous. It’s one of the stupidest things I’ve heard yet from you PITTs. Also, “cases of trans”? Fucking really? I mean, I shouldn’t be surprised you’re referring to being trans as if it were a fucking disease.

So your child isn’t letting you do the thinking for her anymore. That must be terrifying for you.
‘Intransigent’ - meaning she is no longer willing to let you talk her back into to parroting your beliefs. I’ve noticed you seem to like this word. Funny, because one of affixes is /trans/.

So you think your opinions are the only reasonable ones. Your daughter doesn’t agree with you and you have decided you don’t have to listen to her because your opinion is the ‘reasonable’ one and hers will never be reasonable so long as she isn’t parroting your beliefs.

Just because your family members are doing it doesn’t mean it’s automatically the right thing to do. Anybody, including people you are related to, can be wrong. The old adage ‘if your family members jumped off a cliff, would you do the same?’ comes to mind.
If your child refuses to be openminded politically, that may be a sign that they are a part of a new cult such as trans.

Living with you must be a nightmare. If she’s gotten out, I’m so glad for her. If she hasn’t I hope she is able to ASAP. You do not have a healthy relationship with your kid. You seem to think that controlling her in everything she thinks, says, and does is what parenting is about. It’s not. Parenting is about helping your kid become their best self, not a carbon copy of you. TBH, I hope your daughter never speaks to you and is able to build a family of her own that supports her and loves her for who she really is. You are clearly incapable of doing that.
