Well, they want as much excitement in their sex life as possible, that much is certain (remember the claim that only “animalistic” sex counted towards ascension?). Problem is, how much of HS/College sex excitement comes from novelty? Expecting the excitement to persist for decades, whatever the starting point, is probably asking too much of the human psyche.
And what’s more, if their main concern is personal excitement/pleasure (insofar as they distinguish the two), I really doubt they’ll be any good for foreplay or afterplay. In which case they’re discarding a good chunk of pleasure for not...shall we say...looksmatching their idea of sex.
I’d like to ask them if they really think they can build a fulfilling marriage, “traditional” or otherwise, on just eros, with no philia or agape to speak of. I expect the answer would be revealing.
(Note that I’m 42 and chaste, so this is generally extrapolation on my part. Certainly not experience.)
