Trump read and mastered The Art of War.
Armchair General detected!
It takes far more than reading a book, no matter how good the book and how careful the reading, to master a subject. And that is especially true for a subject like strategy.
If there really were a large-scale coordinated conspiracy to oppose Trump, they would definitively have professional strategists on staff. All of them would most certainly have studied (not just read!) The Art of War, as well as commentaries, critiques and discussions on how to apply these lessions to modern times. They would also have similarly studied many more relevant works, from other classics so famous that even laymen have heard of them to more publically obscure yet no less influential treatises to recent developments. More importantly, they would also have considerable practical experiences with the intricacies and intrigues of statecraft and strategy (and the existence of a clandestine “Deep State” would make that insider expertise immeasurably more critical than it already is, with further conspiracy elements like secret technologies and occult warfare only increasing it further).
Trump understands that most people ostensibly on his side are unreliable because they are easily suckered by enemy Narrative attacks and a lifetime of conditioning to conform to enemy behavioral norms that are counter-productive.
And like every authoritarian “thinker”, Bradford C. Walker believes he is not among those who are controlled by the “Noble” Lie, but among the select few who truly understand their leaders…
Trump uses misinformation and disinformation--lying and bullshitting--against enemies and unreliable allies as a matter of routine.
Trump is an abysmal liar who lies compulsively and relies entirely on telling his followers - the only people who ever fall for his lies - what they want to hear.
