Personality Change because of the occult?
My sister was diagnosed with schizophrenia. We used to be very close. She is 7 years older than me. I always knew her to be loving and protective of me.
I went to visit her recently. This was the first time I had seen her since the diagnosis.
She wasn't like the woman I remembered her being. She didn't look pleased to see me at all. She stared right through me with complete disdain. For the first time in my life, she actually put me down.
I couldn't believe it. I know that right before this personality change happened, she was dabbling in the occult.
Does anyone know if dramatic, total personality change is part of what happens when people dabble in the occult and things go wrong?
Is atheism an easy way out, since we don't know what happens after death its easier to deny/reject everything?

I was completely anti-teletubbies.... then one day my son saw it and fell in love with them. I didn't like it, but he wouldn't stop talking about them, so I figured "Why not? What harm could it possibly do"? Well he's been watching the show for about 2 weeks now. He is only 2 1/2, and his vocabulary is outstanding. Lately, I've noticed that he is starting to babble. For example, when he doesn't want to do something I tell him, he says something like "No ca cow"! (he used to just say no, don't like it) I always believed that the rumors that the teletubbies promoted homosexuality, and that was confirmed for me today. My son wanted to play teletubbies games on sprout.com, and I found one called "dirty knees"... the whole game was to clean the teletubbies dirty knees. As of today, I will no longer let my son watch this show, no matter how badly he cries. I really believe that it's affecting his vocabulary and I also believe it promotes and encourages homosexuality. What are your thoughts?

Part of the cool thing about God is that he's omnipotent. He can do everything. Including being fully man and fully God. God has three facets: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All of them together make God, and each of them individually is God. No, it doesn't make sense. But God is also omniscient - He knows everything. We're human. We have to respect that there are certain barriers of our consciousness that we can't breach. We have weak, human minds, and can't understand everything. Just like you can't teach a dog quantum mechanics, you can't teach humans the mystery of the Trinity. It's just beyond our ability :)

How do evolutionists account for human reproduction?
The human reproductive system is incredibly complex...slight problems/variations in the female body can easily result in the death of the egg/fetus AND the woman.
Now, add the male to the equation...Evolution requires that males and females co-evolved in perfect harmony...each change in males was matched by a corresponding change in females...or extinction occurs.
So how can the exact same evolutionary mechanisms (internal and/or external) that cause males to become "more male," simultaneously cause females to become "more female?" (in perfect harmony, mind you)
The only possible (non impossible) explanation is that humans evolved as individuals having BOTH male and female organs...and then once reaching full development...slowly "devolved"...a split...one group becoming only female; the other only male (again, in perfect harmony).
But this is required of ALL animal species. There is no plausible answer.
This is one of the reasons I find Evolution to be absurd.
Sweetie, there is a difference. I can't speak for everyone but when you sin, a Christian knows to ask for forgiveness and to repent. I don't know what atheists do when they sin, but there is a difference between sinning for the hell of it and sinning and asking for forgiveness and repentance.
