Lord, please open the eyes of elected Democratic politicians. A good many of them support the killing of unborn babies and the one running for President even supported allowing an aborted baby born alive to die without receiving any medical attention. A good many of these elected Democrats support gay marriages and are actively trying to make a union between people of the same sex legal across our land. Lord, these Democrats go and find sympathetic judges to usurp the will of the majority of the people even after the majority has voted on an issue. They think they know better than the majority of Americans.

A good many of these elected Democrats support just about every other religion with the exception of Christianity. They're even actively enacting laws which make it illegal to criticise sins, such as homosexuality, mentioned in Your Holy book. Lord, a good many of these Democrats do not embrace the old adage 'peace through strength' when it comes to our enemies. They would rather have talks with terrorists who want to destroy our way of life. They don't seem, or refuse, to recognize the dangers posed by Islamic radicals. Lord, these are just a few of the issues that our elected Democrats need to have their eyes opened to.

Lord, please don't let anymore Democrats who espouse the views mentioned above to get elected to the Senate, the House of Reprentatives, or the Presidency. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. Amen.

I totally believe in oil drilling, and finding more sources. Even if we get the alternatives people are talking about, (wind, solar) oil products will always be needed. That is unless you know of a way to fly without jet fuel. Same goes for trains and diesel. Besides, the third world doesn't give a rip about all this and they are the ones "killing this planet" more so than we ever will.

As for me I have a huge carbon footprint and green plants love me for it. God is pretty sharp and He made a way to deal with Co2, since He knew we may need such a plan some day.

The day man views the planet as so fragile God needs our help to save it, we make ourselves far more important than we can ever be. The arrogance of that mindset to me is profound. I suppose it is to be expected since man has long had an inflated self image.

But I hear all these stories about people being molested as a child and that's why they chose the gay lifestyle. Woman say they can't stand the smell of a man because it brings back that bad memory. Some woman even change their appearance to look like a man because sub-consiously they don't want to attract a man.

I still think that's a cop out and it is a choice, my sister-in-law was molested as a child and she's married with a child. So, yes, I agree 100% that it's a choice. I just worry that something may have happened to my niece as a child that she is keeping bottled up inside.

How do I witness to someone who may have inner angry that I can't understand? If I ask her "did someone do something inappropriate to you to make you gay" ... my family will lose their minds. Some of my family believe that you are born gay. And my sister would NEVER admit that something may have happened. She left when my niece was little and still has the guilt.

Yeah, Jesus kind of told all of us -- for the past 2000 years -- that we will be hated, scoffed at and laughed at by those who don't believe. Personally, I think it would a true test of your faith to stand up for Christ, but one that would feel good and right. No, it's not fun having a family member upset with you or angry at you. But at least you know you're doing the right thing by not attending their wedding. When it comes down to it, what's more important? Your niece's feelings or the Word of God?

The HAMAS wing of the Demokrat party is very upset over the announcement of Biden (another gray haired white guy) to be Obama's VP pick.

HAMAS was promised that Jimmy Karter would be the VP pick to guarantee that anti-Semitic views would be represented in the next White House.


They are further outraged that the millions of dollars in "contributions" sent to Barak Hussein Obama's campaign (which started out as US taxpayer dollars and then sent to the terrorist "palestinian" authority to help them build a better life for themselves instead of spending all their time trying to destroy Israel) won't even be returned.

When Mahmoud Abbas makes the keynote speech at the konvention in Denver, you bet this will be at the top of his list!

we hate temptation.... we are not happy to sin, or like it... we want to be free from it. We are forgiven Praise God, but the temptation is still around, and of course just seeing other sin in some ways that they do makes us mad... murders, rapist.... hard to keep from screaming.

as we were walking today i was tring to take where we were and upgrade it to heaven status. Asking my husband if he thought there would be stores in heaven, no money to buy, you just go in and get. These artist , it is there passion and they might want to sit for years and work with their hands, just for fun, and then leave the store door wide open when they left.... just let people come and look and take for free what they want.

I know this might sound silly to some, but really there are people that love to work. Even waitressing! I mean imagine you are in heaven where there is no sin, rudness, greed, theft, you just hang out and listen to people tell stories, enjoy their company.... i would be happy to work in a resturant for a while, where there was no rush, no need to "please the costomer" to keep your job, just to pay the rent.... you would be happy to serve otrhers, the mansion is paid for.... you are just there to hang out and have good food ....

That's why I stopped subscribing to BH&G. I now subscribe to This Old House. No gay couples and better fix-it-up advice, plus it costs less to subscribe.

I will no longer be buying Christmas ornaments from Hallmark, either. If folks stopped buying Christmas ornaments from Hallmark, that would be a big hole in their bottom line. Nothing made her gay. She chose it. Just like alcohol does not make an alcoholic, it's the behavior/choices. This is true for any sin, it's a burden, it's part of the flesh. All of us have different burdens, no one is spared their own thorn. It is a cheap excuse to say any of your behaviors you choose to embrace are so hard wired you have no choice but to give in.

Continue to love her. Continue to a witness to her. If she decides to announce a gay marriage then that is just another opportunity for you to witness. She knows your beliefs and she would be asking you to be a hypocrite to support her mockery of a union the God you believe in set in place.

(Xenosjeff's Catholic wife has left him because he refused to let the kids go to Catholic school. I shortened the story a bit.)

I then told her that I knew she had lied and that I was not going to allow the further indoctronation of our kids into the RCC. I then asked her why she had ignored my plea to work together on this. Silence. I got mad and told her that she was a coward and a liar and had selfishly gone outside of her place in trying to control what was my responsibility. She is so full of pride but still so intentionally ignorant about the simplicity of the gospel. So she slept on the couch , got up and left early, came back after I had left for work and took her clothes and mary statue. When I got home from work I found she had gone. She is at her parents (next door) and has the kids with her. She says that she is taking "one day at a time". Both kids are worried and sad.

It is my honest belief that I was wrong for getting mad and trying to "Lay down the law" but I told her nothing but the truth about what she had done. Her only way out since she has no biblical basis was to try and punish me with her leaving and taking the kids. She is on a false high power trip right now. She says the only way to make this go away is let her be catholic and let her teach the kids her faith.

I have her threats and punk behavior pointed right at my head. She has turned my life into a weapon to be used against me.

So, is this abandonment? Am I paying the price for speaking the truth to her?

Just yesterday I called my brother and was trying so hard to talk to him.. I was failing in a big way... I was shaking and my jaw was shaking so much I could not hardly talk..
The strange things is that he and his wife attend church all the time and their family in in church 3 times a week..
I finally just came out with it.. I've no clue how come I was struggling so hard.. It was the oddest thing I've felt in over three years.. I mean I've been emotional before.. But to be almost unable to speak and shaking and fumbling all over my words... it was pretty strange..

I 'm sure it was the holy spirit working through me.. that was a tough battle for me to fight... God won though.... hehe as if he wouldn't lol

The people of Noah's day had never even seen rain, so the idea of a flood was completely foreign to them. But Noah was known as a good man, and what's sad is that no one listened to him, though he was known for his goodness and wisdom.

He really did try to warn them, too, but for them to acknowledge he might be right, they would have had to make a change in their lifestyle of working for immediate and pleasureable rewards, such as money and material goods and possibly even pick up a hammer and work hard on something where the end benefit was not immediately apparant. In the end they just continued doing what they were comfortable with.

I believe in the story of the ark as 100 percent true, yet is also a startling parable for today's times.

Have a small design-build business and get out to see most clients in their homes and neighborhoods. We are in the buckle of the bible belt, but the most liberal part of it with all the university communities around us.

Over the past 5 years we have had a number of gay clients. We've watched as they moved from the secluded, off the main path, homes to the affluent and very visible neighborhoods. Its startling, and sickening.

When a cultist approaches me and begins prostelytizing I do not allow them to waste their time or mine by debating.

Instead I politely present the Gospel in the simplest terms possible. I always emphasize how deeply Jesus loves them by sacrificing His life for them. This is usually when the "deer in the headlights" look appears but it's OK -- at least they heard what they needed to hear.

One thing I learned years ago is to NEVER allow cult members, New Age believers, or whatever to go on lecturing at length. We have the AUTHORITY in Christ to lovingly yet boldly cover over their blasphemies with His truth! (nodding smilie)

The old argument is the universe is so vast that the probability of life existing elsewhere is very high. (From a scientific view) I believe that God intentionally created the universe on this scale as a demonstration of his strength to show us how important we are to him even though we are so small.

Are you kidding me! Christmas is the most set apart (holy) day on the planet. It starts with "Christmas in July" and continues well into January. The US economy may collapse (certainly many companies would) if Christmas was to suddenly vanish. No doubt there are those on this board that make there living, at least in part, off Christmas. It is embraced by athiests as well as the religious and the worldly, in various countries around the world. Yes, man has indeed created a most holy day. But this is not the first time it has happened, somebody gave us an example;

I have noticed many teachers Bible teachers who know about Islam have said that if the God of the Bible and the koran were the same, then he would have had a schizophrenic episode while writing the koran.

The fact is, they are not one and the same. The Bible is written by God Almighty, Jehovah. I believe with all the references to kill Jews, Christians, infidels, etc. that the koran is written by the devil himself. It was a way for him to have a religion.

I am leaning towards what you are saying. It could be a nephilim hybrid or some kind of unholy creature. It makes me wonder what people are going to dig up next, you know? What about the loch ness monster; I think it could have survived the flood in certain parts of the world?

Dinosaurs and people were created at the same time, so it's not unthinkable.
What if it's the same animals, but they have survived for so long having been created before the curse struck the Earth? That may explain their rarity. I am very interested in what these "scientist" turn up. However, if it's a hoax, I won't be surprised in the least. Scientists have gone to unbelievable lengths to fabricate "evidence" for evolution, basically trying as hard as possible to keep God out and be accountable to Him.

After the rapture and Bema seat, I'll be sure to ask Jesus about all those weird creatures we people were curious about and what they really are. That would be pretty cool.

Traditionally, Judaism taught eternal punishment for the unrighteous (Daniel 12:2). However, modern Judaism teaches a lot of doctrinal error, a lot of extra biblical nonsense to uphold tradition and some sects teach the Kabbalah (which is basically a form of witchcraft), not surprising as it is a false religion since it has rejected it's Messiah. Fallen angel's have no such problem.

These are very possibly the beings that are released into the air when the waters were lifted up on the second day of restoration.
Hence the Lord withheld his approval by not declaring it to be very good.
