It’s much newer, rooted in neurosis as much as necessity and explicitly political. By comparison chakras and souls are ancient ideal objects that properly engaged with can functionally and practically deepen ones understanding of reality.

honestly I put zodiac and genders on the same level of crazy- especially with so many zoomers taking zodiac VERY seriously and as honest truth (same with manifestation)

Have there ever been any cases of the more accurate analogy? Someone who’s a Sagittarius masturbating to a person who’s a Scorpio because this other person’s a Scorpio?

It always boils down to them thinking being trans is just about getting off, doesn’t it? It’s like they refuse to even consider the possibility that someone might genuinely feel different about the gender they were assigned at birth.

Woooooow. Um, there were transgenders in Sumer, 4500 years ago. That we know of. It would appear that there have been transgendered humans as long as there have been humans.

I do get the impression that to some, every living being is genuinely agender. It’s in some ways a case of being unable to disentangle the idea of gender from the idea of sex/gender roles.
