Methinks you never got anywhere close to WW2, did you? News flash, the monument is to celebrate the victory and sacrifices AGAINST the Nazis!

I don’t think the young men and women who risked their lives protecting freedom did it so their own countries could be ruled over by the very same opressive, xenophobic Nazis they fought against.

The elimination of queer people, by denying their existence, destroying their art and literature, forcing them to remain in the closet, or outright murdering them was a central aim of the Nazi regime. Your side has explicitly and implicitly engaged in three of the three things I’ve identified and seem to sympathize with the fourth. Not that the Allies were much better on that front, mind you, but our side won and we can learn from our own mistakes.

How many of the millions of veterans of that war from Allied nations who fought to drive out the Nazis were what we’d call LGBTQ today but couldn’t publicly express it? Fun fact, when you forcibly conscript millions of people you’re going to find queer veterans. I’m sure they would have loved the opportunity to have participated in a pride event had they been given that chance.

They think persecuting us is perfectly fine, because they think we’ll molest their children by being in the same room with them. They need to keep their kids safe and “straight” so they can get married at age 13.

Do you have ANY Idea how many drag shows those men put on? On the ships, on the advanced bases, overseas…?

Hell, we used to have a Miss Benjamin Franklin contest on halfway-night every patrol.

Pretty sure most of these men you’re trying to idolize AND assume are on your side, they would point out that it’s possible to put on a drag show with no more sexualization than what’s in the viewer’s head.

They fought against system in which the individual was utterly enslaved to the state down to his private life and in which any deviance was severely repressed.

OPs either believe Pink Swastika is true or forgot about pink triangles. Also did they admit satan is for protecting LGBT at all costs? That doesn't exactly make him sound that bad.

I have never served in any armed forces, and I suspect neither have any of the posters in that gettr submission.

The fact that these idiots made up an entire, verifiably fictional scenario about drag queens wearing dildos during Drag Queen Story Hour says more about their personal fetishes than it does about gay people.

Drag queens are men, so where would they put the dildoes? Also, they work to keep their penises from destroying the lines of their dresses, so why would they add dildoes? It’s obvious you’ve never seen a drag show.

ENSA. Also, men in the forces who were of a entertainer bent went out of their way to entertain their fellow troops doing makeshift stage acts. Even in war, they followed the tradition of Pantomime: when there were no women to play their roles, they were played by men. ENSA means Entertainment National Service Association, but those they entertained weren’t averse to referring to that as ‘Ever Night Something Awful’.

Are those men doing those impromptu ‘drag’ acts awful in also fighting against those who forced others to wear Pink Triangles…?!

They returned home to their wives & children after defeating those who were insecure about their masculinity.
