“You know, we’ve cut drug prices by 1,200, 1,300, 1,400, 1,500%. I don’t mean 50%, I mean 14 — 1,500%.”

Are you kidding? Trump as the best math! He’s got numbers no one’s ever seen before! Math after math!
Of course, a business plan with a 1500% discount is functionally suicide, but TRUMP has been to COLLEGE! He can math with t he best of them. In fact it’s been said, people are saying, I’ve heard them say that the best are the ones who math WITH TRUMP.
Yeah.
That’s one way to get the pharmaceutical companies on your side, Don Old Fart.
Now watch them impose tariffs of 100% on those Repubicans they previously lobbied.
They’re going to get the message, and it’s a simple one: Either not only your ca$h but your jobs in politics go or your Nutcase-in-Chief does.
Why do you think Big Pharma is investing heavily in certain labs doing R&D in Gene Therapy outside the US: and way before this idiot said this? Because of the trillions treatments using such would make for them. Those labs? Here in Britain.
And we have the National Health Service.
One of the possible symptoms of Alzheimer’s is losing all sense of how numbers work. That’s not something you want to happen to someone who is in charge of things which often involve big numbers in some capacity.
Then again often Trump just makes up money numbers (and square footage numbers) based on his feelings, so this could just be a stupider-than-usual version of that. I’d still bet on Alzheimer’s based on other things we’ve seen from him.
Lemme make this simple for Big Fat Dump:
Cutting a price by more than 100% (such as, say, 1500%) means the seller pays the buyer money to take or accept the product, good, or service. The vast majority of those offering products, goods, or services don't go this route.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
