Someone asked me today why trans men are not being promoted like trans women are. Because men would never tolerate such stupidity. Frankly only women could be emotional and irrational enough to have allowed transgenderism to infiltrate our spaces.

That’s true. I hate you. I despise you and your ilk with every fiber of my being. You are the embodiment of everything humans should strive to get away from; the dark abyss that we’re trying to claw out of to reach enlightenment. So saying I do not tolerate you is an understatement.
And you know, as opposed to you bigots I dislike hating something. But the fact that you insist on being so despicable that it makes me betray my core self just makes me hate you even more.

Sure, they are. This is a normal question to ask, and you are the transgender topic expert. I totally believe you, Canday.
But I don’t think anyone’s ‘promoting’ Trangendered people as much as reacting to all the bigotry against them. And the bigots are WAY more interested in trangendered women. Not as afraid of being raped in the mens room by someone who’s ‘originally’ a woman. Or a woman competing against men in ’men’s’ sports. And the really emotional scaredy-cats are the men who fear they might accidentally lust after a woman who turns out to have (or had) a penis and turn them gay. Not so much a threat if they’re sure they’re not going to look at men and accidentally commit hetero cheating.

That said I have seen Trans-men and most of them are indistinguishable from cis men.
Because, at least in my experience, cis men's reaction to ftm transition is "Eh, OK." That doesn't provoke the same shrieking hatred as mtf, so there's less need for vocal defense.
This shit just makes me so angry.

spoiler I have a friend who is a trans man. A few years ago he was at a restaurant and went to use the restroom that matched his gender. While at the urinals, a cis man standing next to him happened to look at his face. The next thing my friend knew, the cis man had grabbed the back of my friend’s head and slammed my friend’s face into the urinal plumbing, breaking his nose, jaw, and knocking out most of his teeth. Then the cis man just walked out like nothing had happened. Thankfully doctors have been able to put his face back together over several years and multiple surgeries. Whenever people talk about trans people being a danger to others, I think of this.Go fuck your self and die in a fire at the same time Candy. I’m so tired of people like you.

Someone asked me today why trans men are not being promoted like trans women are.
Pointing out that trans people are just as much human beings deserving human rights as cis people is not “promotion”.
And it’s the trans version of cis male heterosexuals not caring about gay women but being mega-hateful towards gay men out of fear of gay men “treating them like women”.
Or that he’ll find that the hot chick he’s gotten hard for is really a gay man in drag, which would make the straight man think he’s being attempted “seduced into homosexuality”.
I think one of the reason that transmen may be less prominent in the trans discourse may be that, to reactionary sexists, Feminism, tomboys, lesbians, career women, wines who are equal to their husbands, female gamers and women wearing trousers are allready Women Trying To Be Me^n (and failing, but in the process ruining everything for everyone including themselves, obviously) (also, one and the same), anyways, so female-to-male transgender is not something they can distinguish as a seperate image of an enetmy; this further means that it may pose too much of a threat to give their ultimate agenda of resusciating the moribund patriarchy away too much.
