I’m a proponent of bullying. I think if you’re a loser, you should be bullied and hopefully fix yourself. If you’re fat, you should be bullied and lose weight. If you’re dumb, you should be bullied and educate yourself more. If you’re trans, you should be bullied and not be trans anymore. It’s not a hard concept to follow. Of course, everyone reacts differently, so I’m not saying to just bully everybody. But as a general rule of thumb, I think bullying is good for the most part. Harassment is not good, but bullying can be.

Everyone is different. When being bullied some people may try to better themselves to stop the bullying, while others may take their own lives or try to kill the bully.
No I don't support bullying.
Oh, it’s one of those guys. Yeah, asshole, I for one think that proud proponents of bullying should get a taste of what they propose. And by ‘taste’, I do mean thirty Niams having their way with you for at least thirty days. I’m sure that at the end of it you’ll say “This has helped me grow so much, totally worth it.”
If you’re straight, you should be bullied and become gay. If you’re cis, you should be bullied and become trans. If you’re conservative, you should be bullied and become progressive. Why is one acceptable and not another?
Here’s what bullying generally accomplishes: After years of recovering from a life broken by bullying, the victim becomes… more resistant to bullying. Which comes at a high long-term cost, and is something they would probably not actually need if people cracked down on bullies a lot more. Meanwhile, from the perspective of a perpetrator who is genuinely deluding themselves into thinking it’s for the victim’s “own good” (assuming they see the eventual outcome, which they probably won’t), it’s a crapshoot whether the long-term effects are “better” or “worse” and whether their actions had anything to do with that, either way. That’s not even getting into how bullies sometimes harm themselves, usually in subtle ways, by those actions, but rarely have the self-awareness to understand how and why.
That’s all assuming that things don’t go sideways in a very bad way.
"I think if you’re a loser, you should be bullied and hopefully fix yourself.”
And i think that supporting bullying makes you a loser.
So, we can bully you until you get with the program, right?
But maybe you don’t CHOOSE to bully. Maybe you’re broken. Maybe you were abused, and this is just how you relate to others. Stilll, you chose to champion bullying. Out loud.
How about any black, gay, hispanic, or trans person who thinks the system has fucked them over gets a job at your local police station. YOu get into a cell once a week and they get a 5-inch fire hose and an hour. Minimum of thirty sessions.
Not a hard concept. You like bullying, you get bullied. Just for the sake of fitting into someone else’s standards.
That’s assuming the things they’re being bullied for are actually bad .
* If they are actually bad, then bullying seems like a pretty inefficient way to handle it. If it’s just a way to work around teachers and parents who refuse to deal with problems, then I can hardly imagine being a “proponent” of it even if it is the worst-bad solution that’s immediately available.
* If they aren’t actually bad, then bullying is exactly what opponents of it say it is. A way to hurt people who’ve done nothing to deserve it.
I'm going to pay a man who is much bigger and stronger than you to follow you around. He'll hurl verbal abuse at you, mock you, steal things from you and spread nasty rumours about you. Sometimes he'll physically abuse you, but he'll never tell you why. Whenever you think you see a pattern of what actions lead to physical attacks, he'll start doing it over something else. If you ask for help, others will say you probably did something to deserve it, maybe even join him. This will continue until the man is perfectly pleased with your appearance, opinions, level of education and sexual conduct. Then he'll leave you alone, and then we can see how pleased you are with the experience.
Bullying doesn't work. It doesn't drive fat people to lose weight - not that someone else's carriage is any of your damned business.
On the contrary. Those who eat for comfort will just grow larger. Calling someone a loser because he doesn't meet your standards of approval is not bullying; it's being a complete asshole and a loser in your own right.
But oh the edge - I nearly cut myself on all that Edge Lord stuff.
Either accept people for who they are, or leave them hell alone. You never know when you may push someone who is even bigger bully than yourself. That person may call out all your flaws and ridicule you for them. Would you be a better person for that? Probably not.
It took years of therapy for me to arrive at something resembling a recovery from extreme bullying (among other trauma). I’ll probably never completely recover from the complex PTSD. Still, I wouldn’t wish what I endured on even you. It wouldn’t do any good, anyway, because people like you are beyond any means of fixing except maybe death.
I'm a proponent of bullying too, muthafucka, maybe because I had so much of it at school. I like turning around and giving the bully a dose of their own medicine! Then don't they turn into the most pathetic whinging snowflakes, over those merely standing up for themselves.
Confused?
