Just to be sure: the crackpot tag is for people who sound absolutely deranged and insane, right? I sometimes still have trouble applying the correct tags, the sheer amount of stupidity that I get exposed to from fundies is enough to fry my brain completely.

If it makes you feel better, you’re not the only one. Frankly, sometimes their insanity is so excessive, so absurd, so unbelievable that it makes me question MY sanity. As in, are they actually saying that or am I getting delusional? Sometimes it really IS easier to think I’m the crazy one surrounded by sane people rather than the opposite…

I mean, you’re not entirely wrong there… It’s just that as much as I like you christo-fascists/stormtrumpers/bigots/fundies/etc. to lose, it’s less a matter of pride for me and more a matter of life and death. I don’t want you individuals to lose because I can be smug about it, I want your ideology to lose because it’s inherently hurtful to countless people.

No, it is for pseudoscience, and more generally pseudoscholarship and bizarre theories.
Pretending for a moment that this makes any kind of sense, if any side makes it about right and wrong, then it's about more than just winning and losing. Failing to at least acknowledge that and account for it makes any victory more difficult and more temporary.
If it's only about winning or losing, it's also wrong, especially if that hypocrisy also affects the lives, rights and beliefs of many people. Either party could be accused of that, so it can also be a frivolous accusation or generalization.
