The scientific community celebrated the discovery of fossilized dinosaur soft tissue. It was a monumental find they want everyone to know about. It isn't hidden, it is shown to the world.
Fossilized soft tissue. And yes it was a HUGE find. For the idea that soft tissue could be fossilized under the right conditions wasn't actually proven until that find. And after that discovery? Scientists went back to other fossils and found more examples of fossilized soft tissue. It was an amazing find that in no way disproves that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. No it actually increased our knowledge of how it happened.
So much so that Dr. Mary Schweitzer, who was a Young Earth Creationist no longer is one. As the find and the research done afterwards convinced her of millions of years. She is a good scientist who followed the evidence. And she is still a Christian, just now of the old Earth type.
