There really isn't a whole lot stopping him from running off and living in a shack somewhere. Quite a few people do it, and from what I understand, they're generally left alone unless they cause mischief on the land.

There have been a lot of public education campaigns conducted since the late 1990s that aim specifically at that demographic. If the study were to be conducted now, I believe there would be significantly different results.

My favourite part of this post is how the "multiple studies* mentioned in the beginning became but one; and, just to sling mud, you bring up flat earthers and Holocaust deniers - complete non sequiturs - to buttress whatever point you think you're making.

That's intellectually dishonest, but I don't expect any more from somebody who takes one study conducted 25 years ago and concludes from it that being gay is worse than being a smoker.
