As for a king feeling kinship with his subjects, consider the attitude of Louis XVI towards his people. The class divide (more aptly termed 'chasm') ensured he felt no responsibility towards them whatsoever. They owed the monarchy taxes and labor, and in return he owed them nothing. They were his subjects, as in subject to his every whim.

Democracy is hardly perfect, but there's a very good reason country after country has chosen it over other forms of government.

4) The Montreal experiments lasted from 1957 to 1963. The CIA directors during that time were Allen W. Dulles and John McCone.

5) Jason Kelly is the co-founder and CEO of Ginkgo Bioworks. I see no connection between him and either of the CIA directors.
