I’ve read an interesting “alternate history” series, Harry Turtledove’s “Worldwar” series, I think it’s called. It starts during the start of WWII, but aliens invade Earth, of all things. To try to not spoil too much, I don’t think the US nuclear attacks on Japan happen, but nuclear weapons are a key point in the story, and interestingly, IMO.

You know, one of the people who actually have studied law, and by “studied” I don’t mean “looked up some crap on YouTube or just made up some shit to fleece some people out of their money.” I’ve read this tax protester FAQ (btw, “tax protestors” and “sovereign citizens” are often more or less the same thing lol) I found from a link from RationalWiki a while back, and one good point from that that stuck in my head was that courts usually throw their cases out as being “frivolous.” Now, when a judge says your case is frivolous, that’s basically the legal equivalent of getting laughed out of the room because you’ve been a total dumbass.
