Wait a minute….an Arabic-language STREET SIGN of all things = “clown world”?? What? I don’t know, but I think it’s pretty safe to assume the reason for such a thing existing would be that there’s a decent population of Arabic-speakers in the area. So it’s “clown world” if a country wants to accommodate people who speak a different language, really?
Personally, I grew up and really spent the majority of my life not too far from Dearborn, Michigan. I remember a long time ago, for some reason I found myself at a McDonalds there where I noticed signs in both English and Arabic. All I thought of it was pretty much “oh, that’s something I haven’t seen before, but it makes sense, given where I am” (one of if not THE largest concentrations of Arab-Americans in the US, I believe)
