The Justice department cases are over your mishandling of classified documents. Those cases didn’t exist three years ago. The NY case and Georgia case are not in the hands of the Justice Department. The Georgia case related to election fraud and 3 years to investigate high level fraud is pretty typical. The only real politics in these cases what the attempt to kill the case in NY but that stirred up so many public complaints that it was brought back. That was entirely a NY matter that didn’t involve Biden or the Justice Department.

The gag order in the case is pretty narrow. Gag orders that just prevent people from talking about the case at all are not uncommon. This gag order only prevents you from trying to intimidate and/or threaten witnesses and the staff of the court. That you find that limiting to your speaking is your problem.

One of the few good things Trump did was unilaterally decide to withdraw. Staying wasn’t going to help the situation and the Taliban was always going to take over after the US left. It is arguable that the firebombing of Dresden was a war crime. That late in WWII it was known that firebombing did more civilian damage then military damage. By that point in the war the Nazi’s had hardened factories against bombing but civilians still lived in wooden housing.
The numbers are a straight lie. The firebombing did something around 25K. The Nazis published some figures over 100K but they are known propaganda. The lowest credible figures for the Holocaust are in the millions.

Never in all my years in politics have I seen ever anything like the way the gates of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump.

Have also never seen a politician committing crimes on the scale of Trump. Involvement in two plans to overthrow the US government because he couldn’t accept he didn’t win the vote. A variety of less important secondary cases running the whole way up to sexual assault because the main cases are so serious. The first 3 would be Fascism if they had been directed by Biden. In the first case the Justice Department and the FBI tried to avoid raiding Trump’s house but his blatant misuse of classified documents forced the issue. In the second Taibbi wasn’t charge with any crime, he was investigated after selling a pile of Twitter stock because it appeared that somebody else might have been using Taibbi’s name. In the third Bragg wanted to not indict Trump but the evidence of Trump fudging his taxes is too strong to ignore.
In all of these cases in a Fascist state Trump would be arguing his case from behind jailhouse walls. Particularly in the classified document case he has been let out on bond on generous terms.

The whole bit about Japan and China is mangled history. Mao was a military leader well before 1945. The Japanese occupation of Manchuria was straight up imperialism, the Japanese said this was the goal.
Israel and China have trade relations because both countries have had reason to dodge export controls on military technology and both are willing to deal with countries not globally popular. As a percentage of trade it’s insignificant in China just because China’s total economy is so much bigger. It’s much more likely that China will discard Israel when it’s politically convenient then the reverse.

Pearl’s quote may be correct in the first part but the second is wrong. Blaming everything on global conspiracies that already control everything is to avoid having to do anything. You can’t fight a global conspiracy that can secretly kill people, control minds and rewrite history. You can fight individual problems but actually doing the hard work of fighting back is what most people don’t want to do. Complaining is much easier.
