Today i talked to 9 coworkers, one boss, fourteen people between the back gate and my desk, including janitorial, manufacturing, inventory, and sales staff, and two contractors from the caterers, one lawyer, one doctor, two nurses, a receptionist, a postal clerk, my wife, my son, two people that were in line with me at the credit union, one teller….
And i didn’t even order out for lunch today, or buy gas, or call the other kids, or my grandkid…
Pretty sure they’re not going to find out if i used an a tagged word unto about 2050. And that’s with an AI sorting the tapes, and a human sorting THAT filtered output.

Yeah, it’s a real problem for CHristains.
Study after study shows that kids with active imaginations and access to fantasy materials grow up knowledgeable about such things (like wooden stakes for vampires vice salt for zombies), but also less likely to BELIEVE in such things like magic.
Watching such shows, they’re more likely to criticize ’That’s NOT how you defeat a lich’ or ‘There are no ghasts in Tobin’s SPirit Guide.’

I forget what grade i was in when we read To Kill A Mockingbird. Scout’s experience going to a black church struck me really hard. I was raised Mormon and you just did not call people out that way! But i was more FASCINATED by the differences than shocked/fearful/horrified.
