Therein lies the dog buried. You will never admit to yourself or even attempt to understand that realizing who you are and facing it is literally as far away from escapism, as can be. When we come out, we do so with full knowledge it will not be easy, no sunshines, no daisies, yet we still do it because anything else would exactly be an endless escape from your own self, an escape that ever so often ends in a grave.

Yes, it does, because it’s not some vague emptiness, transitioning is just making sure your outside reflects your inside and that helps with a crapload of life issues but has shit all to do with whether you’re feeling unfulfilled in life in general or not, stop lying. You wanna heal a void inside you, you get a cat not transition just out of curiosity.
