“Between the reduced female capacity for fighting”
Joan of Arc comes to mind.
As well as every time i broke up a fight on shore patrol, the women were the ones that scared me.

"and the inevitable dissension and lack of unit cohesion that will result from putting women into front-line companies and commando units,”
Which was also the argument against letting black men into such units.
And gay men.
And Italians.

“I can only conclude that this is ultimately a positive development for long-term American freedom.”
Of course you will.

“Give it enough time and the military will go the way of the Fortune 500 companies, HR commissars will be assigned to each unit, and the combat rifle will be replaced with a lighter .22 caliber carbine that comes in fashionable teal, mauve, and eggshell.”
Another argument made against allowing gays in the military. Hasn’t happened yet.
So, okay, you’re a sexist with nothing to base your sexism ON except innuendo.
Fire away, Gridley. Just don’t expect to be taken seriously by anyone with an attention span.

Mark Driscoll #fundie #homophobia #kinkshaming

“First, masturbation can be a form of homosexuality because it is a sexual act
that does not involve a woman.”
That’s not the definition of homosexuality.
Homosexuality is NOT a sexual act. It’s a desire orientation.

“If a man were to masturbate while engaged in other
forms of sexual intimacy with his wife then he would not be doing so in a homosexual way.”
If everyone I imagine while masturbating has breasts, I’m not masturbating in a homosexual way.

“However, any man who does so without his wife in the room is bordering on
homosexuality activity, particularly if he's watching himself in a mirror and being turned on by his own male body.”
Look, just admit that you’re gay, we won’t judge that. This layering, though, that’s pathetic.

“Second, masturbation is a form of monosexuality because it is sex that does not
include another person.”
Biology tells us sex is the exchange of and combining of genetic material. So masturbation is not sex at all.

“Since sex is given for such purposes as oneness (Gen. 2:24), intimate knowledge (Gen. 4:1), and comfort (2 Sam. 12:24), having sex with oneself seems to miss some of the significant biblical reasons for sexual intimacy.”
Oh, I dunno. Masturbating to the image of one of the kids in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory does lead one to intimate self-knowledge. Blimping, shrinking, vacuuming, floating, goosing… A whole raft of websites one might never have looked for without such knowledge.

“Third, masturbation is often done in haste because of the mortifying embarrassment
of possibly getting caught in the act.”
Um, no.
Made 16 submarine patrols. Everyone knew what everyone else was doing in their rack after the James Bond movies.
And this is why you knock.

“Subsequently, masturbation encourages a man to become a notorious minute-man who will not be well skilled in the self-control necessary to satisfy a wife.”
Okay, you’re a gay virgin. Doesn’t mean you can’t satisfy a woman. With practice, anyway.

“Fourth, masturbation can establish a pattern of laziness. If a single man wants to
have an orgasm, he needs to first become a man and undergo the hard work of courting and marrying a woman. If a married man wants to have an orgasm, he needs to first undergo the hard work of loving, leading, and romancing his wife. But, lazy men are prone to rub one out in the shower each morning rather than undergo the labors usually associated with responsible masculine married life.”
Um… Have you ever MET a woman? I don’t masturbate because I don’t have or want to spend the time convincing her to touch me. I masturbate because it feels good and there’s nothing on TV for at last five minutes.

“Fifth, though masturbation is biblically permissible,”
You would be totally fucking AMAZEBALLS at how little this impacts my decision-making.

Of course, I did make a commitment to my wife to not cheat. And in 40 years I have fucked every woman I wanted to, which is… her. Because it’s MY word, not her judgment.
So that makes me the real man.

“If you never cheat at all you’re the woman and she’s the man.”

“We don't need source documents, research papers or books. We have 1 book that settles it all. I am sure you have heard of it: The Bible.”
Heard of it. Read it. Wasn’t impressed. The Books says not to pay attention to boring genealogies and includes boring genealogies.

No, ideally it just limits your unconscious offenses. If you truly intend to make someone offended, then fire away. That’s not a problem for PC. Of course, you will have to face some feedback and response to your offensiveness, but that’s just what happens. One of my tooth implants is rooted in the jawbone of a dead guy. They called it ‘human cadaver tissue’ when they surgically installed it and then screwed a tooth into it. It’s inanimate matter and it’s part of my jaw, now.
I also have a 3D printed bone in my thumb. I amaze my granddaughter by making the Steve Austin sound effect whenever I pick up anything with that hand.
The lens in both of my eyes were surgically implanted plastic.
I have several fillings of inanimate matter in my teeth.

Then there’s no point in faith if everything proves Him, huh?

“We think of prayers as going 'upwards' as if God was above us, for example.”
That’s a direct result of the Bible describing the sky as solid and God living above it. Walking around on top of it.
That’s a social convention, not a trait of the universe.

“For me that's either a sign that we and the universe are designed, or its a giant coincidence.”
Neither. Purely propaganda and poetic license.

Your ‘support’ is to feel that we should stamp out anything that isn’t part of your religion. Which is fine, you’re free to have fascist fantasies.

Also, you’re wrong. Saturnalia, Winter Solstice, Christmas, all great fun.

“Watching all the Christians running around happy, giving gifts to their family members,”
You know, suicidal people tend NOT to kill themselves at Christmas? Sure, some do, and they get a LOT of press. But I worked the Suicide Hotline, and the number of calls go down at Christmas. Not because people become happy, but because the suicidal people fit right in. Everything’s grey. Everyone’s stressed. There’s gifts to buy, gifts to mail, cookies to make, parties to get to, exchanges to address. Everything’s cold. Everyone’s stomping through slush. Including the christains swearing at their cars to start god damn it, you had a new battery just six years ago!
We’re no happier or sadder than you fuckers are this time of year.

When’s the last time you actually sang? And did you listen to the words?
A lot of carols are just songs about snow and sleighbells. No Christmas or religion. It’s just the only time the radio or the stores play them is a christmas time. I especially like hearing ‘Hallelujah’ at Christmas. It’s just a song about a Jewish Kid getting laid.

“oh, and running around happy (didn't I mention the happy part [[giveup]] )”

“The theory was not arrived at as the only reasonable explanation for the evidence; indeed much of the 'evidence' did not exist when the Greeks first came up with the idea.”
That’s a non sequitur.
In a well-written police drama, the suspect changes over time as new evidence is collected. That heightens the tension, so if you only have 10% of the evidence you’ll end up with, your suspect is more than likely not the perpetrator.
In real life, however, cops tend to form conclusions from the first clue. Then they just keep adding clues until the prosecutor feels that he can convince a jury of the guilt of their initial suspect.
Whether or not the evidence was observed at the start doesn’t detract from the Greeks’ conclusion. It just keeps getting fitted into the theory.

And any person in Hell faces an infinite amount of suffering.
Logically, if an omnibenevolent could do anything to prevent people from going to Hell, he would HAVE to take that action.
So, he’s have, HAVE to forgive everyone for their life on Earth and any sins they committed.
THe usual objections to this logic involve justice, and laws, and promises, and stuff. But, again, none of it can be more important to God than reducing suffering. And you can’t even pretend that he can stop seeing the suffering in Hell, because he’s OMNISCIENT!

“but you never bother to refer to the freedom to practice religion in that same amendment,”
THat’s the exact point of Church/state separation.
IIRC one of the first lawsuits to use this was Catholic parents who were upset that their kids were being taught a Baptist prayer at school. They were not free to practice their religion.

“or the fact that this is a Christian nation.”
Not even close.

“lol I am an attorney,”
Who cannot spell ‘separation’ twice the same way…

“[Blackpill] It is virtually impossible for a normie and absolutely impossible for a foid to understand blackpill.”
A belief that NOTHING is your fault, everything can be blamed on women, and a tendency to lash out in impotent anger? What’s to understand?

“In this topic I will try to prove that it is absolutely pointless to discuss blackpill with normies.”
Was it Einstein who said, ;if you don’t understand something well enough to explain it, you just don’t understand it.’?
Which makes a lot of sense, you guys’ attachment to the blackpill is mostly emotional, not logic. You just rationalize the shit out of it afterwards.

“For you to understand an individual's problems, the first requirement is that you have the empathy to put yourself in their shoes.”
To understand it? No, that’s not true. To empathize, maybe. Or to sympathize. But not to understand it.

“And here the normies will fail miserably. Natural instincts tell them that weak individuals like us must be expelled from the group, making us capable of arousing nothing but pure hatred. Their only wish for us is to see our death.”
That’s silly. We’ve all been the misfit at some time or another. The New Kid, the weird kid, the Other, the outlier. There’s always a group we’re not a part of. We just don’t get psychotic about it, and you guys do.
It’s not a natural instinct because you’re ugly, it’s a conclusion based on just how fucking evil you’re willing to become in order to exact what you think of as revenge.

“In the case of foids, it's even worse, because, besides foids having zero empathy for any individual other than another foid, children and chads, their IQ is not enough to understand some concepts. In fact, even low IQ incels have a hard time understanding blackpill in its entirety.”
Uh huh.. You’re so much smarter than the women you repel.

“The only exception to this rule is MGTOW normies,”
That’s an oxymoron.

“and even in their case, only after decades of indoctrination and a high enough IQ. Once they have been forced to study female behavior and all the social changes brought about by feminism, they can understand the incel phenomenon and some of them may feel genuine empathy for us.”
Dude. You’re not attractive. Women who can choose do not choose you. This is not a new phenomenon. If everyone reproduced, then there would be no competition for mates.

“but hating gays is not homophobic...a phobia is a fear of something”
Actually, you should look it up.
A ‘-phobia’ is an irrational hatred or fear of something.

“if you hate bananas, you're not bananaphobic”
It’s one thing if you dislike the flavor of a banana.
If you actually hate banana for an irrational reason such as your belief in the banana/Carmen Miranda conspiracy, that’s a phobia.

“I Also Have Had A Dream Of Looking At A Porn Site In The Computer And A Bear Out Of The Computer Mauled Me. Interpretation: Pornograpy Will Maul You”
Kind of cheesy, isn’t it? Did this really happen or are you sermonizing?

Bears in dreams signify power, resilience, and solitude. If this really happened to you, you might interpret it:
Solitude is easy, you typically watch porn alone.
Resilience would mean you’re not harmed by porn, at least not in excess of your ability to heal. That would depend on whether or not you accept porn’s characterizations as true. Thinking that a copier-technician will show up within ten minutes of a failure can kind of ruin you for real life in America.
And power. Porn, and anything else online, has no more power over you than you’re willing to give it. Porn says all women want the big cock, you can choose not to be jealous with your smaller equipment. Porn says all women are lesbians, you can actually take your partner’s word for it. That sort of thing.

“Creation and the Bible; Adam and Eve. Ask your self this, if we evolved from Apes (we didn't of course) why then do women get pregnant and have babies, why don't they just go to the local zoo and wait for one of the monkey to evolve into a human.”
Were you dropped on the head as a kid or is this because of illicit drugs?
Evolution does not work that way.
The difference between monkeys and apes doesn’t work that way.
The paperwork to adopt an animal at the zoo is murderous.

“Do you see how ridiculous this sounds.”
Do you know anything about grammar? Hint? Hint?

“The Bible explains creation and how people and plant and animals multiply."
No, it really does not. It lists creation, but doesn’t explain anything.

“It even explains why women go through so much pain just to have a baby.”
Again, that’s not explained, just blamed.
Welcome to our country, we speak English, here.

“get this my school has a club called the gay straight allience”
Promoting equal rights for all, i suspect?

“but when marine recruiter try and come to my school they are kicked off the property”
So, 17 years ago, 2009? DADT was still a thing?
And we were at war? Fighting for equal rights for oil companies?
Cannot imagine why the school would put the kibosh on that…

“and when i try and start my own club orginally called FAG (friends against gays)”
Against gays? So, not even pretending you wanted equal rights for all… Yeah, that’s not comparable to the first group, it’s the opposite.

" i said it's discrimination”
Genius, tolerance is not a religious ideology, it’s an offer. A transaction.
We’d like to tolerate every sexuality, you only want to tolerate a very few. We don’t have to tolerate your intolerance.

“and is disrupbting my right to a peaceful assembly”
But you don’t have a right to a bigoted assembly on school grounds.

“Have you ever considered the complexity of the human eyeball?”
Yes, a few times.

“It's an absolute miracle how two cells, once united, become specialized and develop into the various components that make up blood, lymph, skin cells, bone cells, nerve cells, etc...and form tissues and organs that all have complex functions that work together and form the human body... insects, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, fish...”
Do you know how to sentence?
Okay, so you’re overimpressed with complexity.
But you cannot PROVE that it requires intelligence, as opposed to a straightforward collection of traits that work.

“and then there are plants and trees, different types of soil,”
Yes, different geologic processes make different soils and plants adapt to grow in a range of them.

“the sun is the perfect distance from the Earth..”
This is such a stupid claim. The Earth’s distance from the son varies by 3 million miles over the course of the year.

“any closer we'd burn...”
It’s three degrees outside, and the Earth is just about at the closest point of approach to the sun that it reaches.

“any further, we'd freeze.”
July 4th, we’re the furthest from the sun.

“The planets are in perfect rotation..."
Except for the one between Mars and Jupiter…

“Believing in God a fairytale?”
Yes.

“It takes a greater leap of faith to think these things just happened.”
Except I don’t think they just ‘happened.’ you don’t know enough about my understanding to criticize it, much less mock it.

Exactly. The bible does say if you’re a good Christain, then you can’t even sin. Maybe God should have put a Church in the Garden first.

“The difference is that infertile people cant choose if they are fertile or not,”
I suspect this is a response to why gays shouldn’t marry? Because marriage is supposed to produce kids?
That’s still not an excuse for infertile people to subvert the purpose of marriage. We don’t give driver’s licenses to people who are just not capable of driving safely.

“meanwhile in homosexuality you can clearly choose (to control) your sexual orientation.”
I’m straight. I’m extremely straight, cishet, cisgendered, and happily married. If the tables were turned and I was supposed to be or turn gay, I take one look at my wife and wonder how in the fuck I’m supposed to control my orientation.
I control my urges. I don’t chase other women. I chase her, but i take no for an answer (No, back off, not now, how did you get in here, all of that).
But i still really, really want her.

“When you control it, homosexual tendecies get quieter and quieter, until you dont have them anymore, even psychology says this.”
Got a cite?
I can kind of imagine going monastic, and not dwelling on my urges until the body gives up trying to influence me, but i really doubt that they go away…

“This applies for all sins.”
How about lying? If you give up lying do you stop feeling the need to lie for Jesus?

“I get it, you cant choose your sexual orientation, but you can CONTROL it and when you ignore and pray about those tendencies they will dissapear, simple as that...”
I get it. You’re not gay. You prayed that God never give you homosexual urges and you don’t have any. Yay for you. Don’t project your bullshit onto everyone else…

“I'm not going to argue with you over this,”
Because you have certainty, but not a supportable argument.

“but God created the world in perfection, and the sin of man has slowly eroded and destroyed the earth,”
THen it wasn’t all THAT perfect, was it?
If i design a powerpoint and it’s perfect, but it doesn’t convey the information i want my students to have, i can’t blame the students…
GOD could, but I’m too honest with myself.

“homosexuality is an evil and an example of how sin has destroyed the earth,”
If it was out to destroy the Earth, wouldn’t it be contagious? Say, 10% of the population in the 1970s, 20% in 1980, 40% by 1995, and so on?

“and even not from a biblical point of view, homos can't have kids, so not very natural, and they have the same body parts sooo....”
But gays DO have kids. They used to have a LOT of kids when they were all in the closet. There was a big coming-out in the 70s, wives and kids finding out Daddy wasn’t as straight as he tried to pretend…

I’m going to guess you never volunteered at an old folks home. They get talking, they reveal all sorts of felonies. Stuff like, back when it was difficult for women to get a divorce, they got rid of abusing husbands with gravity.
Guy comes home, gets drunk, falls down a flight of stairs, and is found with a broken neck. Back in the day, nothing much in the way of forensics to tell the cops if the alcohol was complicated by a few sleeping pills in the meatloaf, if the bottom of the stairs was quite where he’d come to rest the first time he fell, or exactly when the neck got broken during of after the fall...
But yes, sure, flex your muscles, you manly man, you. No little slip of a gel could harm your dumb ass, no.

“absolute rubbish
just in Wales, a recent study found that faith adds £100m net to the economy
projecting across UK this would amount to about £2bn”
I have to wonder how much that’d be in the US, and how much of that would be from court fines and settlements…

“so if you atheists think faith is so harmful and want to get rid of it, explain where you will find the £2bn from?”
Well, if we got rid of religion, everyone who tithes would have some disposable money to spread around.
Lot of land available for developing. Buy/sell. Tax.

"you guys are so brainwashed by the tripe of dawkins etc. that you are blinded by his articulate ignorance”
Funny, tho, i don’t listen to Dawkins, whether it’s tripe or not.
Is that the only influential atheist you can identify?

“Nowadays it's not unusual for athiest to adopt children or even be parents themselfs.”
No, it’s not. I have three kids.

“As recently as the 1970s we made sure that children had a right to God,”
A right to a particular religion? No, that doesn’t sound American.

“and banned athiest ppl from indoctrinating children from orphanges etc.”
That doesn’t sound legal.
Maybe it was the policy of catholic adoption agencies, but it’s not a law or anything.

“Should we stop down on athiest 'adoptions' more theses days?”
What’s this ‘we’ shit white man?

“Or is more wordly better in the long run, even if children get a bad un-Christian start?”
Dude, it’s not a Christain country, you don’t own the adoption industry, you don’t own anyone else’s child. Shut the fuck up.

“If we let homosexuality slide because it is a sexual orientation that a person doesn't choose, then obviously the next step is to acknowledge that pedophilia is also a sexual orientation (because pedophiles don't choose who they are attracted to, they just are). You can't pick and choose which disorder is okay and which isn't.”
If their sexuality involves consensual sex with other adults, it doesn’t cause harm.
If their sexuality involves sex with non-adults who cannot consent, it’s at the very least a risk of harm.
So we CAN pick harm/no-harm as a distinction.

“Then you have all of these people talking about lowering the age of consent. If a two year old can somehow understand what it means to be a male or female (obviously they cannot), then why couldn't a 12 year old choose to have sex?"
How in the name of fuck do you connect those dots?
There’s a reason we don’t let 12-year olds sign contracts to buy a car or get a mortgage. They’re not ready for those. And no one is supporting sex-change surgery on minors, either. You just lump everything together and think it’s progressive, don’t you?

“To a person with a halfway decent understanding of right and wrong, this is obviously not okay.”
UNDERSTANDING? THat takes out most Christains. The Bible doesn’t really explain morals as much as just list prohibited actions. Tells you how to keep slaves, but not how to know it’s okay or not.

“It's a slippery slope whether people want to admit it or not.”
You’re in a parking lot crying about the slope. It’s not a slope.

“You tell two men they can get married, and you're eventually going to make exceptions for the throuple that wants to get married.”
Same sort of arguments were offered for why we shouldn’t allow interracial marriage. But note that the existance of such marriages did not in any way make same-sex marriages easier to legislate.

“It's ridiculous, and it isn't going to get better any time soon.”
Whine away, chicken little.

“We wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feeeeeelings.... I hope you can read the disgust and sarcasm in my words.”
Just pathetic self-importance and watching your position erode into irrelevance.

So, you have very situational ethics.
Your morality is no better than anyone next to you.
Which is fine, really, terribly Christain, just don’t pretend you have superior morals when all you have is reactionary standards.
