Bullshit! For more generations than I guess you might be thinking of, scientists have speculated about that question. Never heard of the “Drake equation”? And I think that ever since people realized that some of those lights they saw in the sky were other planets orbiting around the same sun as us here on Earth, they’ve speculated about aliens who might live there. And wrote books about it, of course. Not to mention things like Star Trek, which is all about humans and aliens and all that.

Why is Earth so significant?

It’s not. Probably. Unless it turns out that Earth is more rare as a planet with intelligent life than we’re guessing it is.

If you’re religious and having an “unbelieving spouse” is that much of a struggle, why did you get married in the first place? Or if the situation is that you were both believers and the spouse lost their belief, maybe get a divorce if it’s that big of a problem. I can understand that, I mean, I’m an atheist, and let’s say I got married to someone who was also an atheist, but then eventually they decide they’re a “born-again Christian” or something. I’d think it’d be only fair to both of us to get divorced if we’re that uncompatible.

I know a professed Christian woman who works as a public school teacher. She divorced her husband years earlier and now lives alone. Her best friend at work is a male homosexual, who is also a fellow teacher. They eat together, go places together and get along like brother and sister. Something is VERY wrong with this situation.

OK, even if you’re a Christian who is convinced that homosexuality is a sin, what’s wrong with being friends with a homosexual person?? By the description given, it sounds like they have a great friendship. I’d guess they bonded over common interests that had nothing to do with their religion or sexual orientation. Hell, I’ve been there myself. Even aside from the fact that I don’t see how the fuck this person thinks they deserve that…I actually seriously hate that term. It makes it sound like some groups of people are not allowed to be discriminated against, and some others are just fine to discriminate against. What “protected class” really means is “protected characteristics.” If you’re not allowed to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, for example, that doesn’t mean that people of any particular orientation get any less protection under the law than any other.

My favorite video on “debunking moon landing denial” was the one I saw years ago, it was from some guy that had worked in video editing or something like that for years and years, and his main point was that we didn’t have the technology in 1969 to fake a video and have it look like that. Just from a quick search on this game he’s talking about, what Paul has got all worked up about is that the earlier installment of this “Tomodachi” series didn’t allow your character to engage in same-sex relationships, and this one does. So that’s “redefining marriage” I guess. I’ve obviously never played this game before, but I’m pretty confident in assuming that you can have your character NOT have a same-sex relationship if that’s what you want. So, basically, he’s just mad that a game acknowledges that same-sex relationships are a thing that exists????
