The OP acts as if he has his "gotcha" argument that women are not discriminated against, merely because men are. Most right-thinking people recognize discrimination against men where it exists, such as in child custody cases and in the completion of suicides. These aren't secrets.
But when it comes to the disposability of men, women apply for dangerous jobs too - and they're often not welcome because of naked discrimination. Men, you can't eat your cake and have it too. You either want to share the danger or you want to keep the danger pay.
As for a so-called ugly man, I wish sexual surrogacy were more common. The surrogate could teach him about self confidence and yes she does eventually sleep with him. I think an argument can be made the government should cover that for men with disabilities or who have social phobias. Even certain incels would qualify.
