Never mind that all we hear about are Chad (Western European, probably Angle and/or Saxon) and Tyrone (West African, even if the name itself is Irish). I don’t even see the original Adonis (Hellenic)!
So, where are Adonis, Takeshi (Japanese), Radosław (Polish; not sure if it’s usable as a metonym for Slavs, Adonic or otherwise), Alfonso (I have Mesoamerica in mind, not Spain), Rashid (Arabic), Purvang (Bharat; bonus points for translating to “Complete”), Girma (Ethiopia), etc.? Maybe I effectively chose the names at random, but the point remains that their idea of male comeliness is more than a little narrow.
