The Second Law of Thermodynamics is about entropy, genius. Entropy can only ever be increased.

More entropy = less energy to get things gone. In a max entropy system, nothing exists, because there’s no energy for anything TO exist. If nothing else changes, this is the destiny of our universe.

Basically, the amount of energy in the universe is finite, and every action, no matter how small, uses a bit of it, and thus increases entropy.

You know, in the long term, a living being attain the ultimate state of decay but it doesn’t hold true in the short term.

Entropy increases in a closed system. Earth is not a closed system with our sun pouring energy on us every day.

He obviously knows this argument is ridiculous and has heard the refutation countless times, but he still uses it because it sound convincing to his ignorant followers. It’s a great example of how dishonest creationists are and how they only care about the ends, not the means.
