Due to recent events; The Shooting in Georgia, I will no longer be supporting the LGBTQ Community. I never was supporting them, and I wasn't against them either, but now because of the shootings and doing some research, I am now against and no longer support the mentally ill that is the LGBTQ.

The Georgia shooter wasn't part of the LGBT community. He was however someone with a history of violence whose father is a rightwing gun nut. A father who was told his son was dangerous and should be kept away from guns. A father whose responce was to buy his son a gun.
But yes blame the LGBT community and not gun culture.
I actually agree that the mentally ill should not have access to guns. I just have a different opinion on who is mentally ill.
Any demographic of any remotely significant size - especially one that is deliberately a Big Tent like LGBTQ - is guaranteed to contain evil people. But in bigoted double standards, with a murderer from a group under prejudice, not only does that part of their identity get undue focus compared to other factors, but the entire demographic is declared guilty by association no matter how loose; meanwhile, demographic like right-wing WASPs get the privilege of being treated as individuals, not just an instance of a group, indeed to the point of ignoring clear systematic factors.
I somehow doubt you ever supported, much less liked LGBTQ folks… and you using this recent tragedy as a means to justify your bigotry, or pretend to be the reason while the real reason is because you are a bigot who never liked the fact that LGBTQ people existed.
