The thing is, that Pete Buttigieg didn't say people should buy electric cars because gas prices are high. It was in relation to the Build Baxk Better Act about making electric cars more affordable, thus helping to allay fears or concerns about buying gas in general.

Who claims that we have the same number of chromosomes as chimps? I've never heard that, it's always just been the DNA percentage closeness, and like previously mentioned, the fused chromosomes.

And I'm sure you could go down the list of extant primates and check out the percentage they are close to each other.

The reason pigs are used for thins like medical tests and some experiments is that they are close enough DNA wise, usually big enough, muscles/skin similar composition, and there are bunches of them. We also do testing on monkeys, but they are harder to get and people have more ethical concerns experimenting on them.

Honestly there are some problems with Magic.

1. Product glut. They are printing too much stuff, to leads to user fatigue.
2. Less story art. Older sets you could tell what was going on plot wise, even if there was some disconnect. Not anymore, really. What made Gerrad and the Weatherlight crew more memorable, as an example, was they were constantly on cards, through quotes or in the art.
3. Longer sets. It's part of the previous two points, but if we have just a set for a spot, why bother caring about the setting or the characters we barely know about?

That venting aside, Magic has always been inclusive and progressive. We've had many different types of heroes and heroines, not just ethnically diverse, but from different species and fantasy races across the planes. To suddenly hate on Wizards now for that is a bit silly.

There is a small qualifier that stops someone from being labeled a hypocrite. Someone can support bisexuality between consenting adults and be cool with it. Usually when taking into account "Does this group fall under Republican or Democrat" independent parties are left out of the discussion. This is mostly because the US has an effectively two party system, and while third party or straight independents are in office, they aren't at a rate to be nationally relevant.

That is a problem, as it tends to help the destabilization of the nation with the more radical divisions of both parties, who in other countries would be their own groups, that make it harder to work together.

But, as for the White Nationalists, Alt-Right, Fascists, and general pieces of shit, between the two parties, they find themselves overwhelmingly either aligned with, working with, or part of the Republican party as they don't want to branch off into their own less effective independent party.
